WWE will not announce the WrestleMania 43 date during the Money In The Bank 2026 event.
WWE SmackDown October 2 results will reveal the final participant for the Money In The Bank ladder matches. While fans are excited for the October PLE, they also have eyes on another big announcement – the WrestleMania 43 date.
The promotion generally announces the schedule for the biggest wrestling event. But as per the updates from Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, the company is delaying the announcement. More importantly, the dates will not be revealed until November.
WrestleMania 43 will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the first time outside North America. Although the venue is confirmed, fans will have to wait for exact dates following WWE’s decision to hold off on the announcements.
Reason for delaying WrestleMania 43 dates
Catch Every Update, Anytime, Anywhere
WrestleMania is one of the biggest stages in wrestling events, and the Saudi Arabian side wants to make the 2027 Showcase as big as possible. But on the heels of the US Department of State issuing a Level 3 travel advisory for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the decision on WrestleMania 43 dates is pending.
The advisory urges people to “reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia” making it difficult to work on the logistics. It is important to note that the upcoming PLE, Crown Jewel 2026, will take place at the Riyadh Season Stadium (a temporary outdoor venue in the King Abdullah Financial District) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fightful Select also reports that building work for the site of Crown Jewel is due to start in Riyadh later this week, giving it a green signal for the PLE. But the current war situation in the region has led to concerns from some of the talent.
In such situations, WWE sources cite the ‘Mania 43 date announcement around the time of Crown Jewel, if not before then, as per Fightful.
This delay also has a very strategic side, as WWE is looking to keep other events held in North America, which would usually be their big WrestleMania Week shows, “in limbo,” as logistically, it would make it more difficult for other promotions to plan major events. As for fans, the wait for the WrestleMania 43 dates will be at least one month.
When and where will WrestleMania 43 take place?
The 43rd edition of WrestleMania in 2027 will take place as a two-night spectacle in April 2027 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Why has WWE not announced the dates for WrestleMania 43?
Per WrestleVotes Radio, WWE is not currently planning to announce the date in October. The report adds that the unusual circumstances around the Saudi Arabia event, including how ticket distribution is expected to work in Riyadh, have made announcing the date less of a priority.
