Randy Orton was not seen on WWE SmackDown this week

This week’s WWE SmackDown was once again exciting, but fans were left wondering where Randy Orton was. The Viper did not come out to assist his friend and partner, Kevin Owens, which raised some concerns. Kim Orton has now posted on social media, and followers may find out where he was.

Kevin Owens was once again the victim of a Bloodline assault on WWE SmackDown Live. By the end, he was hardly able to stand. Cody Rhodes arrived to assist him but was late, and Randy Orton, the star who has worked with Owens in recent months, was unable to be found.

Kim had previously uploaded images of herself and Orton earlier this week, claiming they were on vacation. It looks like they were present the entire time.

Randy Orton and Kevin Owens are expected to continue assisting each other when he returns, although it is unclear what Orton thinks about Cody Rhodes joining up with Roman Reigns, considering the stars’ recent feud.

Randy Orton to feature on WWE NXT soon

WWE NXT will launch on The CW Network in two weeks, ending its five-year stint on the USA Network. WWE has announced that CM Punk and Randy Orton will take part in the grand opening of the first two editions of NXT on the CW Network.

Prior to the show, Punk came on WWE NXT on September 17, 2024, and formally announced himself as the special guest referee for Trick Williams versus Ethan Page’s NXT Championship bout on October 1, 2024, in his hometown Chicago, Illinois.

As Punk’s position became evident, many wondered what Randy Orton would do on the October 8th show. At this point, Orton announced that he would be returning to NXT for a singles match against Je’Von Evans on the October 8, 2024 edition.
