WWE to give their fans a double treat on this week’s SmackDown!

WWE’s blue brand SmackDown’s 10/25 episode is scheduled to air live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, USA.

This is the final episode of the blue brand for this month. The 10/25 episode will feature many WWE stars including Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Bianca Belair, and many more.

WWE is also per-taping the next episode of SmackDown after the 10/25 edition. It is going to be the last episode before WWE heads to Saudi Arabia. The 11/01 episode of SmackDown will be pre-taped at the Barclays Center. WWE has booked some interesting matches and segments for the 10/25 show of Friday night SmackDown.

According to recent reports, the promotion has planned a pre-taping of the November 02, 2024 episode of SmackDown immediately following the October 25th edition of SmackDown in Brooklyn, New York. This is due to the stars heading to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel 2024 the week after.

Due to the Crown Jewel 2024 PLE in Saudi Arabia, the promotion has decided to pre-tape the 11/01 episode of the blue brand. The fans at Barclays Center will get more exclusive content than expected as they will witness the double taping of the blue brand.

This week’s episode of SmackDown has some big stakes as MCMG are fighting DIY in the Tag Team tournament match, Cody Rhodes and Gunther are set to face off each other ahead of their Crown Jewel clash, Andrade will face Carmelo Hayes in their seventh match with LA Knight as the Special Guest Referee.

In the same way, the November 01 tapings of SmackDown are also expected to be big, with a confirmed match card and build-up for WWE Crown Jewel 2024.

WWE Crown Jewel 2024

The Crown Jewel 2024 is scheduled for November 02 at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Saudi Arabia. Both the WWE’s women’s and men’s champions are scheduled to fight each other for the inaugural Crown Jewel title. The title will be defended every year at the Saudi Arabia event and will not be featured during WWE’s regular programming.

WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes is scheduled to take on WWE Heavyweight Champion Gunther while WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax will face WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.

The winner of the champion vs champion fight at the Crown Jewel 2024 will be adorned with the inaugural Crown Jewel title belt on top of their respective championship belts. The promotion has also announced a fight between Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed to settle their heated feud.
