Next week’s Raw will air from Ottawa.
During the August 17 show of Monday Night Raw, Michael Cole on commentary announced that next week’s edition of the Red Brand will air at a special start time of 6 PM ET/ 3 PM ET.
A SNME contract signing between Bron Breakker and Oba Femi, along with a singles match between Stephanie Vaquer and Roxanne Perez, has been announced for the August 24 show.
On the other hand, the edition will also feature the semi-finals of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contenders Tournament. Penta will battle AAA’s La Parka in the first match, while Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee will collide in the second, with the winner advancing into the finals.
Double taping is announced for next week’s Raw

Following the conclusion of Raw, WWE will pre-tape an episode of SmackDown at the venue, which is why the show has an earlier start time than usual.
Regarding why WWE is holding a double taping, Fightful Select reports that a WWE source revealed that the schedule change was made to give the roster and crew some much-needed downtime following a hectic summer schedule, especially with the upcoming international tours, including the South American tour, on the horizon.
Notably, WWE will run a double taping on Friday, August 28 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. SmackDown will likely air early, similar to Raw, with the August 31 episode of RAW being taped immediately afterward.
WWE will begin its South American tour, starting in Quito, Ecuador, on September 9. The tour will then continue to Bogotá, Colombia on September 10, Buenos Aires, Argentina on September 11, and Santiago, Chile on September 12.
