The Beast returned for a rematch at Clash in Italy.

Despite hanging up the boots at WrestleMania 42, Brock Lesnar returned during the May 18 edition of Raw, attacking Oba Femi, who was in the ring to continue his open challenge. This attack came after Femi defeated Lesnar at Mania and the latter’s big farewell to the fans after the loss last month.

Lesnar then, via his advocate Paul Heyman, informed General Manager Adam Pearce that Brock has challenged Femi to a showdown at the upcoming Clash in Italy, a proposition Femi accepted this past Monday, setting up the stage for their rematch.

WWE’s first-ever Premium Live Event in Italy is set for Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Inalpi Arena in Turin. Brock’s return has also raised questions about his appearances after the rematch, especially if this is a one-off return match or something more.

According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar is expected to appear after the rematch against Oba Femi at Clash in Italy this weekend.

The report added that Lesnar is currently not planned for the July 18 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden. The event is one of WWE’s final two major shows leading into SummerSlam in Minneapolis, alongside Night of Champions on June 27.

Brock was heavily rumored to retire at SummerSlam in a match against Gunther; however, that never materialized. The recent return has once again sparked rumors of a SummerSlam appearance, as the PLE takes place on August 1 & 2 in Minneapolis, a city Lesnar is billed from and remains closely connected to.

As of now, he is not advertised for SummerSlam or Night of Champions, which will take place after SNME on June 27, 2026, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The outlet also reported that, according to sources with knowledge of WWE’s creative direction, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and Rhea Ripley are currently considered the leading choices within WWE to pick up victories at Clash In Italy.

This likely means a rubber match down the line between Femi and Lesnar. For now, fans will have to tune in on Sunday to find out what transpires in the rematch.
