Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE since SummerSlam 2023
‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar has been away from the squared ring since SummerSlam 2023. Lesnar is one of the most prolific combat sports athletes of his era. He is the only person to have won championships in three different combat sports.
With a background in collegiate wrestling and a beastly physique, Lesnar commands a terrifying presence. However, since his loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, the 10-time WWE Champion has been absent from in-ring action.
Lesnar was scheduled to make his return at this year’s Royal Rumble PLE as a participant in the men’s Royal Rumble match. However, he was removed from the event due to a lawsuit filed by a former WWE employee Janel Grant.
Lesnar was mentioned in the lawsuit, leading to his replacement by Bron Breakker for the 2024 Royal Rumble. He was later removed from WWE’s creative plans for WrestleMania XL.
Brock Lesnar is not expected to return in the near future
The WWE fandom has been eagerly awaiting Lesnar’s return since last year, and even a mention of his name during WWE programming sparks waves of excitement among fans.
However, as per recent reports from Chris Featherstone fans have to wait even longer to see Brock Lesnar in action inside the squared ring.
According to the report, there has not been any internal conversation regarding the return of Lesnar and the belief is that he will not be making his return anytime soon.
“I have been informed that there’s been no internal conversations regarding Brock Lesnar coming back to WWE, and the belief is that he will not be returning any time in the foreseeable future.” Chris Featherstone said.
WWE distanced themselves from the star after his name came up in the Vince McMahon case. All mentions of him were removed from their product and it seems unlikely that he will return until his name gets cleared from the lawsuit.
