Vince McMahon resigns from his position in WWE & TKO Group

Vince McMahon was accused of a sexual allegation from an ex-WWE employee Ms. Janel Grant and a lawsuit was filed on Thursday. The lawsuit was filed in the Connecticut district court, where Grant revealed that Vince promised to offer a job and promotion in WWE and trafficked her to other men inside and outside the company.
McMahon pressured her to sign a non-disclosure agreement in exchange and offered her $3 Million to hide the truth. However, it came to light and Vince McMahon has now made a major decision to step down from his position.
Vince McMahon resigned from WWE & TKO Group
WWE Founder and TKO Executive Chairman, Vincent Kennedy McMahon on Friday announced that he is resigning from his positions at WWE and TKO after Sexual Misconduct allegations. He claims that the prior statement from Ms. Grant was a lie and looks to defend himself and clear his name.
Vince announced,
“I stand by my prior statement that Ms. Grant’s lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and is a vindictive distortion of the truth. I intend to vigorously defend myself against these baseless accusations, and look forward to clearing my name.”
“However, out of respect for the WWE Universe, the extraordinary TKO business and its board members and shareholders, partners and constituents, and all of the employees and Superstars who helped make WWE into the global leader it is today, I have decided to resign from my executive chairmanship and the TKO board of directors, effective immediately.”
WWE President Nick Khan confirmed it and reported to WWE staff that Vince has resigned from his positions and is no longer in a role with TKO Group Holdings or WWE.
“I wanted to inform you that Vince McMahon tendered his resignation from his positions as TKO Executive Chairman and on the TKO Board of Directors. He will no longer have a role with TKO Group Holdings or WWE.”
Vince McMahon retired by stepping down from his position in WWE in mid-2022. However, he came back for WWE-UFC merger and was appointed as Executive Chairman and granted him Veto power in TKO Groups. He has now stepped down from the position.
