These stars have competed in double-digit matches at the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’
Aptly dubbed, ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’, the WrestleMania PLE is the biggest event by the Stamford-based promotion which is held every year between mid-March and mid-April. The PLE features some of the biggest matches where superstars battle for glory and World titles.
The Stamford-based promotion kicks off every year with the Royal Rumble PLE followed by the Elimination Chamber PLE both of which are used to determine challengers for the World titles which are contested at the Mania PLE.
While many stars strive to earn their spot at the Grandest Stage of Them All, only a few manage to maintain their upward trajectory and compete there multiple times. Here, we take a look at six stars who have had the most matches at WrestleMania.
6. John Cena – 16
The 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena sits on the sixth spot on this list with sixteen WrestleMania matches in his decades-long career. Cena’s first Mania match was against The Big Show at the 20th edition, where he emerged victorious to become the new United States Champion. Cena is set to take part in the final Mania PLE of his career as he is set to hang up his wrestling boot at the end of the year.

Orton is set to face Kevin Owens at this year’s 41st edition of the PLE, and with his continued performances, that number is likely to surpass 20.
2. Triple H – 23
Although he has hung up his wrestling boots and now focuses on improving WWE, Paul “Triple H” Levesque was one of the biggest stars in the promotion during his prime. Triple H has earned multiple accolades throughout his career, one of which is 23 matches at the Mania PLE. He currently holds the second spot on this list with those 23 matches.
1. The Undertaker – 27
‘American Badass’ better known as The Undertaker sits on top of the list with 27 matches in his era-defining career. The Undertaker also had the longest streak of 21 consecutive victories which began in 1991 where he defeated Jimmy Snuka and was ultimately shattered by Brock Lesnar at the WrestleMania 30 PLE.
