WWE is a place that is the official destination of some of the highly talented professional wrestlers all around the world. The company has signed several great talents to the company to produce some of the greatest shows and build their legacy.
Similar to how the promotion signs active wrestlers, there is also a contract specially made for veteran wrestlers named the ‘WWE Legends Contract’. Here, we take a look at what a Legends Contract is and who is under this contract currently.
WWE Legends Contract
WWE Legends contract is unique from regular contracts signed for active talents. The contract is exclusive to wrestlers who made a name for themselves during their prime and who have contributed their best to the industry.
The company will sign retired legendary wrestlers into a Legends deal to ensure they get post-retirement income and get cut from merchandise sales, TV appearances, and video game appearances. The company also provides opportunities for them to show up on TV often for cameo roles and short-term storylines.

| Jerry Lawyer | Signed a 15-year Legends contract, which restricts him from appearing in other promotions. |
| The Undertaker | Signed a multi-year legends contract in September 2024, which allows him to appear in other promotions. |
| Kurt Angle | Signed a 15-year Legends contract, which restricts him from appearing in other promotions. |
| Mick Foley | Signed multi-year Legends contract in July 2022. |
| Jacqueline Moore | Merchandise Sales and Revenue through Video Game Appearances. |
| Bray Wyatt | Mike Rotunda (Bray Wyatt’s Father), in 2023, after Wyatt’s passing, revealed that WWE has put him on a Legends Contract. |
| Victoria | On August 31, 2024, the former Women’s Champion, Victoria, revealed that she has signed a Legends contract with the company. |
| Hulk Hogan | Hulk Hogan himself confirmed on Logan Paul’s “IMPAULSIVE” podcast that he had signed a new five-year WWE Legends contract. |
| Jacqueline Moore | Signed a 15-year Legends contract, which restricts him from appearing in other promotions. |
| Armando Alejandro Estrada | Hornswoggle signed a multi-year legends contract in October 2024. |
| Ken Shamrock | Signed in September 2024 |
| Rob Van Dam | Rob Van Dam says that he is under WWE’s Legends contract, which limits his AEW appearances to products such as video games and action figures. Despite the constraints, Van Dam loves the ability to engage with both WWE and AEW concurrently. |
| Hornswoggle | Hornswoggle has signed a multi-year legends contract in October 2024. |
| “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan | Jim Duggan is the latest addition to the list. He signed the contract in February 2025. |
| Mark Henry | Henry signed the deal in March 2025, and the new deal also included the creation of a brand-new action figure by Mattel. |
| Kelly Kelly | Kelly Kelly signed the deal in April 2025, as per Fightful Select, but the details of the deal have not yet been made available. |
| Lana (CJ Perry) | As per Fightful Select, CJ Perry (Lana) has signed a WWE legends deal, while Rusev made his return on WWE Raw after WrestleMania 41 |
The Legend Contract differs from each other, where WWE allows certain things to certain Legends, however restricts others from doing the same. For instance, Dudley Boyz, Mick Foley, and Kurt Angle are allowed to appear on other promotions, but Undertaker is restricted from doing the same.
Legends’ contract is also similar to the regular contract, where the contract should be renewed from time to time or should be re-signed with a new deal. It is reported that Jerry Lawler’s Legends contract is nearing an end by this year.
