‘The Cenation Leader’ created history at WrestleMania 41!
‘The Cenation Leader’ John Cena created history on April 20 at WrestleMania 41 as he pinned Cody Rhodes to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion. The win saw him break the tie with Ric Flair and become the one and only 17-time World Champion.
Cena is currently on his farewell tour, which kicked off in January with Raw’s Netflix debut. He is set to retire at the end of 2025. In his return, Cena revealed his desire to win the 17th title, which he has now acquired, however, he has also, for the first time in his WWE career, joined the dark side.
To everyone’s surprise, Cena sold his soul to The Rock and attacked Cody Rhodes after winning the men’s Elimination Chamber match at the namesake PLE in March. Cena has been unhinged since turning heel, blasting the fans for mistreating him and being unapologetic in his promo.
In his appearance on Raw after Mania (April 21), Cena reminded everyone that he has 36 dates on his contract and counted off the cities, and the number drops until it reaches 27. He explained that these aren’t matches, but appearances, stating that when the number reaches zero, he’s done and will take the title with him.
Here we take a look at Cena’s appearance so far in 2025, The article will be updated every time the Cenation Leader makes an appearance until the final 36th time.
