Paul Heyman is one of the greatest WWE managers of all time.
In the world of WWE, there is one man who is known for shattering ceilings, creating a revolution, and most importantly, becoming a major influence on the careers of many successful stars. Ladies and Gentlemen, that man is none other than the same man who always says ‘My name is Paul Heyman.’
The 2024 WWE Hall of Fame inductee is credited as one of the greatest wrestling managers of all time. He has been a pivotal influence in giving WWE some of its biggest names in history. Here is a look back at all the Paul Heyman Guys in the history of the company:
7. Bron Breakker & Seth Rollins
The most recent turn of Paul Heyman on both CM Punk and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41 on April 19 saw him align with Seth Rollins.
However, Heyman had one more intersting surprise up his sleeve as on Raw after Mania, Punk and Reigns tried to ambush Rollins and Heyman for what they did but someone in a hoodie came out flatlining both of them, the guy turned out to be former IC Champion Bron Breakker who officially became a ‘Paul Heyman Guy.’
6. Cesaro
Following his remarkable win in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX, Cesaro was poised for bigger things as he officially became a ‘Paul Heyman Guy.’ The pairing did some good work, but it only lasted a few months, after WWE decided to split them up before Cesaro could ascend as a top-tier WWE superstar.
5. The Undertaker
The Undertaker was the OG Paul Heyman even before that moniker became popular. Back in his WCW days when he was ‘Mean Mark Callous’, Taker and Heyman worked closely with each other.
Moreover, the Demon from Death Valley himself, called Paul Heyman, was a major influence in his early career, which led to him becoming one of the top legends in the history of professional wrestling.

4. Curtis Axel
After he was repackaged in 2013 using his rich wrestling lineage, Curtis Axel was aligned with Paul Heyman. The duo picked up huge momentum, with Axel picking up victories over a legend like Triple H and even winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
However, their partnership only lasted a few months, after which both went their separate ways, and Axel never experienced the success he did as a ‘Paul Heyman Guy.’
3. CM Punk
Ever since he debuted in WWE in 2006, CM Punk has maintained that he is a bona fide ‘Paul Heyman Guy.’ The Best in the World and Heyman had an incredible partnership in the early 2010s as a wrestler-manager duo, leading to Punk holding the WWE title during his record-setting reign.
The duo still maintains their close friendship, and after many years, Heyman will be in Punk’s corner at WrestleMania 41 as he is set to headline his first main event at The Show of Shows.

2. Brock Lesnar
Paul Heyman was the one to introduce the wrestling world to the ‘Next Big Thing’, Brock Lesnar, in WWE in 2002. They were a formidable wrestler-manager duo and rekindled their partnership in WWE when Lesnar returned in 2012.
Lesnar is considered one of the most successful Paul Heyman Guys of all time, and The Beast himself has credited his former advocate to play a pivotal role in his wrestling career.
1. Roman Reigns
In 2020, Paul Heyman was plucked from obscurity and taken by Roman Reigns. This led to Reigns’ rise as one of the biggest WWE superstars of all time.
Under the tutelage of Heyman as his Special Counsel, Reigns ascended to become the Tribal Chief, and Heyman added one of the top WWE stars to his list of successful clients. While Reigns and his Wiseman are still going strong today, it seems that their partnership might crumble at the end of WrestleMania 41.
