The Hall of Fame ceremony mainly occurs every year on the eve of WrestleMania.

Every year, WWE honors wrestlers who have been great servants to the wrestling industry. However, the Stamford-based promotion also sometimes bestows this privilege to legends from other walks of life, like Hollywood, Boxing etc. Becoming a WWE Hall of Fame inductee is the holy grail for the past performers, and it truly makes their legacy everlasting.

The Hall of Fame ceremony mainly occurs every year on the eve of WWE’s biggest PLE, WrestleMania. The class of any particular year appears on ‘The Show of Shows’ as the WWE universe celebrates their careers and achievements. Facts about the WWE Hall of Fame

• WWE held the first-ever Hall of Fame ceremony back in 1993.
• The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony did not take place between the years 1997 to 2003 for reasons unknown.
• The class of 2020 was inducted along with the class of 2021 because the ceremony could not take place in 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.
• Only seven wrestlers have been inducted twice into the Hall of Fame as part of a faction and as singles performers: Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Razor Ramon, Booker T, Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart.
• Sean Waltman (part of the D-Generation X and the nWO) and Barry Windham (part of the Four Horsemen and U.S. Express) have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice as part of two different stables.
