Top seven WWE stars who might miss WrestleMania 41

Some WWE stars can miss this year’s mega event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

WWE is headed straight to WrestleMania 41 after the culmination of its last Premium Live Event, WWE Elimination Chamber. The show will take place over two nights, April 19 and 20, at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The company has announced some of the marquee names in the business for The Show of Shows to produce another grand spectacle in the event. However, there is a possibility that many WWE names would not be present for the show. Here are the top seven names that can miss WrestleMania 41 this year:

7. Tonga Loa

Tonga Loa last competed as part of the new Bloodline in the WarGames match against the OG Bloodline at the 2024 WWE Survivor Series PLE. During the match, he suffered a torn bicep and was ruled out of action indefinitely. With Tonga Loa having made no appearances since the Survivor Series event, there is a high chance that he might not make it to WrestleMania 41.

6. JD McDonagh

JD McDonagh was going strong as a member of The Judgment Day for a long time. During a match against the War Raiders, McDonagh suffered an injury in an attempt to deliver a moonsault. He later revealed that he had suffered broken ribs and a punctured lung. This would put him on the shelf for months and in turn, possibly miss WrestleMania this year.

5. Ilja Dragunov

Ilja Dragunov had a spectacular start on the WWE main roster last year. That was until a WWE live event, where he sustained a torn ACL injury in a match against Gunther. The injury ruled him out of action for a long time. With only a few weeks left on the road to WrestleMania 41, The Mad Dragon is unlikely to make it to the show.

4. Bronson Reed

Bronson Reed was amidst a monstrous run in WWE for the better part of 2024. However, his momentum was derailed at the 2025 WWE Survivor Series PLE. He was part of the new Bloodline team that battled the OG Bloodline in the WarGames match. Reed delivered a Tsunami from the top of the cage onto Jimmy Uso and broke his foot. He later revealed on X to miss many months of action, taking him out of the WrestleMania 41 festivities.

3. Asuka

Asuka has been a top fixture for the WWE women’s division for many years. The Empress of Tomorrow was looking to ascend to the top once again in 2024. However, an untimely knee injury took her out of action. She later underwent surgery for the same and has not been seen on television since. This makes her participation in WrestleMania 41 highly doubtful.

2. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn went to war against his former best friend, Kevin Owens, in an Unsanctioned Match at the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE. The match was a sight of physical decimation, with the ending witnessing Owens dismantling Zayn. The Underdog from the Underground has suffered multiple injuries in the match, which makes it highly possible that he will not take part in WrestleMania this year.

1. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch has been absent from WWE television programming since May 2024. The Man was heavily speculated to make her return on the debut edition of RAW on Netflix and the Premium Live Events after the show, but it did not happen.

This could mean that Becky Lynch would miss her first WrestleMania, which is set to go down in Las Vegas, Nevada.
