John Cena will return for the first time since December 2025.
In the lead-up to WrestleMania 42, it was confirmed that the 17-time WWE World Champion John Cena will return to take over the hosting duties for the 42nd edition in Las Vegas. The 42nd edition will be a two-night spectacle on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Now, speculations of fan-favorite star Danhausen joining him in hosting duties have also been rife on social media. Danhausen, since his debut at the Elimination Chamber, has transformed into one of the biggest names who seemingly is now set to debut at the âGrandest Stage.â
The speculations picked up more steam during the go-home show of WWE Raw, where it was hinted that Danhausen would go to Mania to meet Cena.
Will Danhausen co-host WrestleMania with John Cena?

According to a report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, an in-stadium segment featuring Danhausen is planned for WrestleMania 42, with time already set aside for the appearance. It also notes that the idea of having the eventâs host, i.e., John Cena, join Danhausen has at least been discussed.
Furthermore, BodySlam+ has also reported that WWE is planning for Danhausen to be in multiple segments during the two nights. The report also added that one of those segments will be Danhausen coming face-to-face with Cena.
While it is not clear if Danhausen will join Cena to host the PLE, at the very least, the two will interact for the first time on WWE Television and are likely to deliver one of the most memorable moments of the PLE.
