Bret Hart is announced to appear for WWE Raw Season Premiere!
Bret “The Hitman” Hart is one of the legendary technical wrestlers WWE has witnessed. Hart has a great legacy in the pro wrestling industry and is an idol for many. He is a ten-time champion in WWE and a two-time WWE Hall of Famer.
As WWE is all set to host the Season Premiere in Canada, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has officially announced that the Hall of Famer and Canada’s own Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart will be live on this week’s episode of Raw. This week will be the Raw Season Premiere and is set to be held on September 09, 2024, at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
As The Hitman is set to make his appearance, backstage rumors speculate that a two-time world champion could attack him on the show. Here we take a look at the rumors and the possibility of occurring.
Will Drew McIntyre attack Bret Hart?
CM Punk is one of the biggest Bret Hart fans, who considers Hart as his idol. Punk admired Bret Hart and has paid homage to him on a number of occasions such as wearing the Hart-themed gear and using his classic moves during the match. Both have huge respect for each other, and they never fail to express their support for each other in a number of ways.
Since Drew McIntyre has been conquering whatever and whoever is personal to Punk, the backstage speculations suggest that McIntyre could attack Hart in this week’s episode of WWE Raw in the season premiere. WWE fans speculate that Drew could confront The Hitman in his country and would Claymore him before being suspended by the Raw General Manager Adam Pearce.
Last week on Raw, Drew attacked Punk from behind after his promo, delivering three claymore and breaking his bracelet into pieces. He made Punk bleed and sent him to the hospital for medical observation. After last week’s attack, The Second City Saints appearance for the Raw Season Premiere is unlikely. At this stage, Hart could fall prey for the Scottish Warrior’s assault, who could send Hart to the hospital.
Although there is a huge anticipation for the potential confrontation between them, this is just a speculation and nothing is confirmed about the confrontation. Will you be excited to see both have the heated microphone session on Raw in Calgary? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
