WWE returns to the U.S. after Night of Champions.
WWE’s trip to London and then to Saudi Arabia was without the World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. The OTC was absent from last week’s Raw at the O2 Arena in London. He also did not make the trip to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia hosted the 2026 edition of Night of Champions that saw Oba Femi and Iyo Sky win the 2026 King and Queen of the Ring tournament, respectively, and secure a World title shot of their choosing at SummerSlam in August.
WWE has now returned to the U.S and will deliver the fallout show of Raw from New Jersey, as the road to SummerSlam begins. Fans are now wondering if Roman will make an appearance tonight or will remain absent from programming, similar to last week.
Will Roman Reigns appear on WWE Raw tonight?
Yes, WWE has confirmed Roman Reigns‘ appearance for tonight’s Raw. The appearance was confirmed during Night of Champions as the commentary announced Reigns’ appearance after being absent from last week’s Raw.
This appearance came after Jey Uso failed to win the King of the Ring tournament in order to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed title, something which Reigns ordered him to do.
On the other hand, Solo Sikoa, who has been dealing with Jacob Fatu and Reigns’ mind games, is now all alone as his MFTs (Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) have decided to part ways. WWE fans are now waiting to see how the OTC responds to it all.
Notably, there is speculation regarding Oba Femi picking Reigns after winning the King of the Ring tournament, and fans are expecting a fiery showdown between the two in New Jersey. Whatever the case may be, Reigns’ appearance is likely going to alter multiple storylines.
Apart from Reigns’ appearance, a singles match between Chad Gable and Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh has been announced for the show.

Yes, the show will have a special start time of 6 PM ET/ 03 PM PT, as WWE will hold a double taping at the venue. The promotion will pre-tape the July 3 edition of SmackDown in New Jersey.

The 39th edition will air as a two-night spectacle on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, 2026, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
