WWE Raw is debuting on Netflix on next month
WWE is all set to make an electrifying debut of Monday Night Raw on the streaming giant Netflix. The debut episode of the Red brand is set for January 6 at the newly built Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
In addition to regular programming, Netflix will become the exclusive home for all WWE shows, PLEs and specials outside the U.S. The WWE Network will shut down on January 1, and all its exclusive content will move to Netflix.
The Stamford-based promotion is pulling out all the stops for the debut show, treating it as a memorable PLE with appearances from top stars and celebrities.
Along with top stars like John Cena, ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns, Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes, and more, hip-hop icon Travis Scott is also confirmed for the event.

Monday Night Raw will have ads on Netflix
Ahead of the highly anticipated debut of the Red brand, many fans have numerous questions about the transition. One of the most common queries is whether the show will feature ads during the programming, similar to traditional broadcasting.
A recent report from Chris Featherstone has now provided clarity on this matter. Featherstone recently shared a post on X (Twitter) stating that he was informed that the Red brand program on Netflix will have ads, similar to the previous broadcast.
“I have been informed that #WWERaw will have Ads on Netflix, and the experience will be similar to the previous broadcast, with organic breaks throughout the storyline.” Chris tweeted.
According to the tweet, the Stamford-based promotion will have similar organic breaks throughout the programming, providing a similar experience to fans as the previous broadcast.
He further tweeted stating that the ads will be shown to everyone regardless of their subscription plans. The experience will be similar to the NFL Christmas games that will be airing on Netflix.
“More on the ads during #WWERaw on Netflix. All subscriptions will see ads, similar to the live NFL games that will be airing on Christmas Day.” Featherstone added.
Three high-stakes matches have been set for the debut episode, Liv Morgan will defend her Women’s World Title against Rhea Ripley, and Roman Reigns will face Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match for the sacred Ula Fala. A match between CM Punk and Seth “Freakin” Rollins is also set for the Intuit Dome.
