Top five worst storylines heading into WWE WrestleMania 42

WrestleMania 42 has had some lackluster storylines this year.
WWE will present its annual two-night extravaganza, WrestleMania, in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada. The 42nd edition of The Showcase of the Immortals will take place at Allegiant Stadium, as WWE returns to the same venue as last year’s WrestleMania.
However, the landscape and storylines are completely different than last year, and these five WWE programs might seem the worst for the WrestleMania 42 card.
5. Multi-man Ladder match
Penta is scheduled to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship in a multi-man ladder match at WrestleMania 42. However, Penta’s epic rise and remarkable title win should have led to a singles program rather than being thrown in a field of random stars to put his title on the line.

4. The Vision & LA Knight vs The Vision & IShowSpeed
The Vision, led by Paul Heyman, had a rocky road to WrestleMania 42. After their powerhouse stars, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, were pushed to the sidelines, Logan Paul and Austin Theory were left directionless.
WWE tried to pair them with The Usos and LA Knight for a feud and even added IShowSpeed to the mix. However, they failed to garner major attention and could be a lackluster program heading into WrestleMania 42.
3. Sami Zayn vs Trick Williams

The WWE Universe has openly booed Sami Zayn after he took the WWE United States Championship and a WrestleMania spot from Carmelo Hayes.
Moreover, they wanted Melo to feud with Trick Williams due to their long-standing history instead of Zayn, making it one of the worst and most meaningless storylines for WrestleMania.
2. AJ Lee vs Becky Lynch
The two WWE top stars, AJ Lee and Becky Lynch, have been feuding since mid of last year. Despite encounters in War Games, a mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza, and even a singles showdown for the Women’s IC title, the program has been lackluster and should have ended at Elimination Chamber PLE instead of having a spot at WrestleMania 42.
1. Seth Rollins vs Gunther

One of the worst storylines heading into WrestleMania 42 has been the sudden program between Seth Rollins and Gunther.
The Ring General was left directionless despite retiring top legends, and Rollins did not have any major opponent to feud with. While putting them together is a major in-ring showdown, the buildup of this match has not been captivating enough for fans to be strongly invested.
When and where will WrestleMania 42 take place?
The 42nd edition of the PLE will be a two-night event on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Who will headline the two-night spectacle?
Night 1 will be headlined by Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton, while Night 2 will close with CM Punk putting the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Roman Reigns.
Which matches will open both nights of Mania?
The six-man tag team match involving the Usos, LA Knight, IShowSpeed, and the Vision will open Night 1, while Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi will open Night 2 of the PLE.
