Top five WrestleMania 42 opponents for Seth Rollins if Bron Breakker is out due to injury

Seth Rollins might have a different opponent than the one earlier planned for The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Bron Breakker has had major momentum going on since the better part of last year in WWE. However, as the road to WrestleMania 42 began, Breakker was sidelined due to hernia surgery.

It was rumored that he was slated to face his former Vision cohort, Seth Rollins, at The Show of Shows. Should that match not take place due to Breakker’s injury, here are five other WWE stars Rollins could battle.

5. Gunther

Gunther has been on a wrecking path of ending illustrious careers in WWE. He retired top legends like AJ Styles, Goldberg, and John Cena over the last few months.

This makes him a formidable choice to battle a fellow top star in Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 42, which could be a great addition to the show.

4. Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio is one of the top attractions on Monday Night RAW, currently in his second reign as the WWE Intercontinental Champion.

As the holder of the workhorse title, Mysterio is likely to have a spot at WrestleMania 42, and a major star like Seth Rollins facing him in a title match could be huge for his career, while being an interesting match for the card.

There have been reports of less-than-expected ticket sales for WrestleMania 42. The company could boost it with the addition of a marquee showdown between Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar.

The duo battled each other at WrestleMania 35, which was a remarkable match, and WWE could run it back this year in Las Vegas.

A logical choice to replace Bron Breakker for his rumored match against Seth Rollins is his Vision cohort Bronson Reed.

After all, Reed also had a hand in assisting Breakker to take out Rollins, which put him on the sidelines. Moreover, after his victory over Roman Reigns last year, a match with Rollins at WrestleMania 42 could continue to build on his momentum.

But with Reed also now injured, this match also looks highly unlikely.
