Bron Breakker survived everything Seth Rollins threw at him before delivering a brutal spear-filled ending at WWE Backlash 2026.
Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins delivered an explosive showdown at WWE Backlash 2026, combining chaos, athleticism, and relentless physicality in one of the most intense matches of the night.
Breakker exploded out of the gate with a spear attempt, but Rollins immediately countered with speed and aggression, diving onto him repeatedly on the outside. The early momentum belonged to Rollins, who used quick strikes and aerial offense to overwhelm the powerhouse.
However, the tide shifted dramatically once Breakker caught Rollins mid-air and launched him with a belly-to-belly suplex over the ropes to the floor.

From there, Breakker slowed the pace and brutalized Rollins with suplexes, grounded punches, and punishing submissions. Rollins repeatedly fought back with strikes, short-arm lariats, and creative counters to stay alive.
One of the biggest moments came when Rollins countered a spear attempt on the floor with a superkick, leaving both men down as the referee counted. Later, Breakker nailed an avalanche Frankensteiner, but Rollins somehow kicked out.
The match escalated further with dramatic exchanges. Rollins connected with a Pedigree and a Blackout, appearing moments away from victory before outside distractions changed the pace entirely.
Paul Heyman’s distraction changes everything
Paul Heyman jumped onto the apron to distract Rollins after the Blackout. Instead of capitalizing immediately, Rollins grabbed a steel chair and attacked Austin Theory and Logan Paul at ringside.
That hesitation proved costly.
As soon as Rollins returned to the ring, Breakker crushed him with a spear that nearly ended the match. Rollins survived at the very last second, but the damage had already been done.
Breakker removed the straps, charged again, and even after Rollins countered another spear with a Pedigree, the powerhouse refused to stay down.

In the closing moments, Rollins attempted one final aerial attack from the ropes, only for Breakker to cut him in half with a devastating spear.
A second spear moments later sealed the match, giving Breakker a massive victory over one of WWE’s top stars.
The win further establishes Breakker as one of the most dangerous rising forces in WWE, while Rollins leaves Backlash after enduring one of the most punishing battles of his career.
