Hello everyone and welcome to Khel Now’s LIVE COVERAGE of the WWE Bad Blood (October 5, 2024). The start is just a few hours away! I’m your host Akash, and I’ll be keeping you company through what promises a fascinating evening of WWE. Please wait 30 seconds for the Live blog to load.
WWE Bad Blood 2024 is scheduled on Saturday, October 5th at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. It is broadcast on Peacock in the United States on the WWE Network throughout the world. The main card is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT. Five matches had been confirmed for the Bad Blood event, two of which were championship fights.
Several prominent WWE rivalries will write their most recent and, in one case, last chapter at Bad Blood on Saturday night. CM Punk will face Drew McIntyre in Hell in a Cell at WWE Bad Blood 2024, while Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes will team up to face The rogue Bloodline.
WWE Bad Blood 2024 confirmed match card
- Women’s World Championship Match: Liv Morgan (c) (with “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio suspended in Shark Cage) vs Rhea Ripley
- Damian Priest vs Finn Balor
- WWE Women’s Championship Match: Nia Jax (c) vs Bayley
- Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu) (with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa)
- Hell in a Cell Match: CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre
Women’s World Championship Match: Liv Morgan (c) (with “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio suspended in Shark Cage) vs Rhea Ripley
Dominik Mysterio will be hung above the ring in a shark cage for Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship defense against Rhea Ripley, removing him from the equation and allowing his new love interest to face Mami alone.
While all evidence points to a one-sided triumph for the Australian, something about this rivalry feels incomplete. Ripley and Priest defeated Morgan and Mysterio at Bash in Berlin. If the challenger does it again in Atlanta, it appears like Triple H and the creative team’s work to build Morgan throughout 2024 will be just a waste.
Damian Priest vs Finn Balor
Finn Bálor and Damian Priest will square off in what promises to be a hard-hitting encounter. This encounter might have a big impact on the future of the ‘Street Trash’ edition of Judgment Day, and Balor badly wants to win. However, as Damian Priest’s momentum advances in WWE, the triumph for Balor becomes tough.
Damian Priest and Finn Balor have been feuding since Balor cost Priest the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2024 against Gunther.
WWE Women’s Championship Match: Nia Jax (c) vs Bayley
Bayley and Nia Jax will face off again at Bad Blood for a chance to recover the WWE Women’s Championship. Their rivalry began at SummerSlam, when Jax dethroned Bayley with the aid of Tiffany Stratton, Miss Money in the Bank, kicking off Jax’s dominating reign as champion.
Since then, Bayley has been on a quest to reclaim her championship, but Jax has not made things easy. Naomi, who is good friends with Bayley, has also staked her claim to the belt, making for an uncomfortable clash. But as WWE Bad Blood 2024 nears it will be interesting to see whether Nia Jax will retain or whether we will have a new WWE Women’s Champion.
Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu) (with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa)
Enemies make friends in Atlanta, Georgia. Sort of. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will compete in a tag team battle against The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
This high-stakes match comes months after Rhodes ended Reigns‘ remarkable 1,316-day run as Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania 40. Following his loss, Reigns went on vacation, allowing Sikoa to gain leadership of The Bloodline, declaring himself as the new Tribal Chief and bringing in new members such as Jacob Fatu and the lethal combo of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
Since then, Rhodes’ competition with this new Bloodline has grown even more intense. Rhodes and Reigns are now compelled to work together for a common goal.
Hell in a Cell Match: CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre
The animosity between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, which began at the 2024 Royal Rumble, has escalated into an all-out war. It’s only natural that the two would try to put an end to their animosity in a violent showdown called Hell in a Cell.
Fed up with the two’s inability to preserve the peace, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce opted to play the Bad Blood card. With no way out of the steel cage and years of anger bubbling up, this bout threatens to be nothing short of a bloodbath.
McIntyre and Punk will undoubtedly take advantage of the chance, but who else might? One thing is sure: neither guy will be able to escape the cell unharmed.
