This match marked the in-ring return of Roman Reigns after WrestleMania 40

At WWE Bad Blood 2024, a high-stakes tag team match saw Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns team up to take on The Bloodline duo of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a chaotic, action-packed main event.

The battle for family supremacy and dominance in WWE culminated in a dramatic contest that left the audience at the edge of their seats.

The match kicked off with Cody Rhodes squaring off against Jacob Fatu, with Rhodes landing an early Beautiful Disaster kick, only for Fatu to respond with a superkick of his own.

Tensions rose as Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa entered the fray, with Reigns showing his veteran instincts by blocking Solo’s offense and unloading mounted punches on his former ally. However, the tide turned as Solo and Fatu employed underhanded tactics to isolate Reigns, dishing out vicious headbutts and a nod to their father Rikishi with a corner hip attack.

Rhodes eventually tagged back in, lighting up the ring with his signature offense, including a power slam and the Flip, Flop, and Fly, followed by a Cody Cutter. Just as it seemed Rhodes had momentum, the ever-cunning Bloodline brothers cut him off, with Fatu and Sikoa working together to keep Cody grounded. A brief comeback attempt by Rhodes was thwarted as Fatu pulled Reigns off the apron, allowing Sikoa to lay him out with a stiff lariat.

The match reached a fever pitch when both Rhodes and Reigns were isolated from each other. However, Rhodes found an opening when he thwarted Fatu’s top-rope senton by getting his knees up. This gave Roman Reigns the time to recover and get back into the ring.

After a hot tag, Roman unloaded on Solo, landing his patented Superman Punch, though it wasn’t enough to put him away just yet. With the action intensifying, Jacob Fatu reentered the ring, launching a superkick that set off a Bloodline superkick party. A devastating moonsault by Fatu nearly ended the match, but Cody broke the pinfall just in time.

The chaos spilt to the outside as Rhodes and Fatu brawled, leading to Cody Rhodes delivering a Cross Rhodes on Fatu at ringside. Rhodes then climbed the ropes and hit a spectacular diving splash through the announce desk, taking Fatu out of the equation.

As the dust settled, Reigns and Sikoa were left alone in the ring, exchanging vicious right hands. Just as Roman seemed ready to finish things off, the Guerrillas of Destiny made a surprise appearance, causing a distraction. In the confusion, Solo hit a spear on Reigns, but it wasn’t enough to seal the victory.

Amid the chaos, a masked man emerged and took out the Guerrillas of Destiny with superkicks. In a shocking reveal, the man unmasked to reveal “Big” Jimmy Uso, making his return and assisting Reigns and Rhodes. With the distraction in their favor, Reigns lined up Solo for the final blow, hitting a decisive spear to secure the pinfall victory for his team.

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns walked away victorious, but the drama and tension within The Bloodline are far from over, leaving fans wondering what’s next for this fractured dynasty.

After their victory at WWE Bad Blood 2024, Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso shared a heartfelt reunion. Reigns turned his attention to Cody Rhodes, and after a tense stare-down, left peacefully. Suddenly, Guerrillas of Destiny, along with Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, attacked Cody. Jimmy asked Roman for instructions, and Reigns nodded, prompting the OG Bloodline to make the save and clear the ring.

As Cody stood, Roman handed him the Undisputed WWE Championship in a show of respect. Cody raised the title… The Rock appeared, surveying the scene, throwing his hand signs before his music hit.
