Damian Priest & Finn Balor have been on a collision course since WWE SummerSlam
At WWE Bad Blood 2024, Damian Priest faced his former Judgment Day stablemate, Finn Balor, in a fierce battle filled with high stakes and intense drama.
The match began with a fiery exchange as Balor slapped Priest, only to be dropped by a thunderous right hand. Priest took control early, throwing Balor into the corner with a chop and stampeding him across the ring. Priest unleashed a whirlwind of punches before sending Balor to the floor with a brutal kick.
Balor fought back with resilience, landing a series of Kawada kicks and choking Priest over the ropes, but Priest countered with a powerful right hand, keeping the pressure on.
A tilt-a-whirl Russian leg sweep from Balor got him a near fall, but Priest lit him up with a barrage of rights and kicks, hitting a Broken Arrow that Balor narrowly avoided. As the match progressed, Balor connected with a Sling Blade and a Pele Kick, leaving both men down.
The action spilled to the outside, where Priest shoved Balor over the announce desk. Chaos ensued when Carlito and JD McDonagh tried to interfere, but they weren’t enough to tip the scales in Balor’s favor.
After a Shotgun Dropkick and a near-successful Coup de Grace, Balor grabbed a chair, but Priest booted him down and sent Judgment Day packing. Balor attempted another high-risk maneuver, but Priest caught him and ended the match with his devastating South of Heaven.
Damian Priest secured the victory by pinfall, delivering a statement win and solidifying his dominance over his former ally. The intensity of the rivalry only grew, leaving the WWE Universe on the edge of their seats.
With this Damian Priest sets the record straight with Finn Balor on why he shouldn’t have betrayed his former brother from The Judgement Day.
