The latest speculation comes from Wrestling Observer Radio, where Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed the possibility that the former champion may have already re-signed with WWE. However, there is still no official confirmation from the company or Bayley.
The conversation gained momentum following the August 24 episode of Monday Night RAW, when Lyra Valkyria once again referenced her former partner during a backstage segment involving Sol Ruca and IYO SKY.
Valkyria attempted to convince Ruca to give up her upcoming opportunity at the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. After Ruca told her to earn her own opportunity, Valkyria pointed out that Bayley had spoken to her in a similar manner.

Meltzer’s reasoning is that WWE would seemingly have little incentive to repeatedly reference Bayley on television if the company knew she was definitely leaving.

Alvarez previously reported that people within AEW believed Bayley’s WWE contract could potentially run through January 2027 if the company does not add additional time to the deal. There has never been a publicly confirmed expiration date for the contract.
The Role Model has also remained involved in WWE-related conversations. She recently sought a conversation with General Manager Adam Pearce and exchanged words with Blake Monroe, who challenged her to appear on SmackDown.
