One big title match has already been announced for the upcoming PLE
On the fall out of King and Queen of the Ring PLE, WWE will host their next big PLE, Clash at the Castle 2024 on June 15 2024 at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. It is the second Clash at the Castle event & the event is specially produced for the United Kingdom in 2022.
The show is expected to be filled with a lot of interesting matches and an exciting event in the UK. With more than three weeks for the PLE, here we predict the early match card for the show.
Confirmed Match
World Heavyweight Championship Match- Damian Priest (C) vs Drew McIntyre
Weeks ago on WWE Raw, The World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest guaranteed a title shot to Drew McIntyre after he got cleared to compete. At King and Queen of the Ring, Triple H announced that McIntyre is finally cleared to compete and announced that Drew will be challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest at Clash at the Castle in Drew’s hometown, Glasgow, Scotland.
Match Card Prediction for Clash at the Castle 2024
WWE Women’s Championship Match- Bayley (C) vs Piper Niven
At SmackDown before King and Queen of the Ring PLE, Bayley defeated Chelsea Green in a singles match. However Chelsea’s partner Piper Niven attacked her ruthlessly after the match to initiate a feud. Piper Niven could challenge Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship at Clash at the Castle 2024.
It is important to note that Niven is a Scottish Professional Wrestler, and she will be having hometown advantage over Bayley.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match- Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (C) vs The Unholy Union
Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will be defending their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark in weeks before the next PLE. Assuming that the champs will retain the title, they would most probably be defending their title at Clash at the Castle PLE.
On the recent episode of Raw, The Unholy Union confronted the current #1 Contenders and teased that they have intentions to go for the tag team title. It would most probably be Belair & Cargill vs Unholy Union at the PLE. It is important to note that Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn are Scottish pro-wrestlers and would most likely have the hometown advantage.
Undisputed WWE Championship Match- Cody Rhodes vs AJ Styles
Cody Rhodes has promised that he would be defending his title on the line in every country possible. Being the man on his words, Cody would most likely defend his title on the line in Scotland.
AJ Styles, who lost to Cody in Backlash France, asked for a rematch for the Undisputed WWE title. Aldis hesitated his request, however Styles has a high chance to get a title shot at Clash at the Castle 2024.
Sheamus vs Ludwig Kaiser
Ludwig Kaiser has been teasing a feud with Sheamus, since the first round King of the Ring tournament match of Sheamus. Sheamus has recently returned to the television and they picked up a brawl. This could most probably result in a singles match at Clash at the Castle.
Both Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus have a long history with the United Kingdom, however Sheamus will be most celebrated there.
