WWE Clash in Italy Summary and Highlights

The Undisputed WWE Championship match kicked off the show, where Cody Rhodes battled Gunther for the second time in WWE. This time, with the Undisputed title on the line, Rhodes once again managed to pin Gunther to retain the title, albeit the pin became a controversial one as Gunther’s leg was under the ropes.
Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley, aided by Charlotte Flair, managed to take down Michin and B-Fab and then pin Jade Cargill to retain the WWE Women’s title in the rematch from WrestleMania.
Furthermore, Brock Lesnar returned from retirement to annihilate Oba Femi with seven F5s and pin the Ruler in their second meeting, equalling the score at 1-1.
In the co-main event, Becky Lynch defended the WWE Women’s Intercontinental title against Sol Ruca. The rematch from SNME had raised stakes due to the title being on the line. Ruca managed to hit the Sol Snatcher and pin Lynch to become the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
This marked Ruca’s first clear win since her main roster debut as well as her first WWE Championship on the main roster.
The main event of the PLE saw Roman Reigns tame Jacob Fatu, attacking his hand to kill the Togan Death Grip attempt. Reigns also used the weapons, tables, and steel steps to his advantage, defeating Fatu to retain the title and his status as the Tribal Chief.
Notably, after the match, the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) arrived, and so did Solo Sikoa and his MFTs (Tama Tonga & Talla Tonga), signalling the Bloodline story to continue. Roman also fired shots at everyone, including Cody Rhodes.
