Cody Rhodes praises Vidyut Jammwal’s personality and martial arts skills.
“The Viper” Randy Orton might have cost Cody Rhodes a place in the Money in the Bank ladder match; the former champion already had a lot on his plate. Recently, the star was in Mexico promoting his upcoming movie “The Street Fighter”.
While Roman Reigns is another WWE megastar part of the Hollywood project, another athletic Bollywood star, Vidyut Jammwal, is also part of the multi-starrer film.

Cody Rhodes compares Vidyut Jammwal to Jackie Chan.
Discussing the movie with his fellow star and Comedian Andrew Schulz on the latter’s Flagrant podcast, Rhodes called Jammwal one of the most handsome guys and lauded his shredded body.
During the conversation, Rhodes recalled being so impressed by Jammwal’s appearance that he immediately called his wife, Brandi Rhodes, after their first meeting. “I think I met the most handsome man that’s ever been seen,” Rhodes reportedly told her, describing the Indian actor as someone who left a lasting impression on everyone who met him.
The conversation also explored Jammwal’s background in Kalaripayattu, a traditional Indian martial art. Rhodes praised the actor’s stunt work and compared his abilities to those of legendary action star Jackie Chan, calling him “the Jackie Chan of India.”
However, Rhodes’ admiration extended well beyond Jammwal’s physical appearance. He also highlighted the actor’s kindness, recalling that Jammwal gifted him a skull necklace and left a handwritten scroll on his bus on the final day of filming. Jammwal also presented him with two shawls after learning that Rhodes’ daughter had been born during production.
Andrew Schulz joins the praise for the Indian action star

Comedian Andrew Schulz was equally fascinated by Jammwal’s physique, lifestyle and martial arts background. The discussion took a humorous turn when the conversation shifted to how the actor maintained his muscular build while following a vegetarian diet.
Schulz and Rhodes recalled Jammwal’s surprising statement that “protein’s a myth,” which left them questioning his approach to fitness. The remark became one of the memorable moments of their discussion, although it should not be interpreted as medical or nutritional advice.
As the film’s release approaches, the conversation has given Indian fans another reason to look forward to seeing Jammwal represent the country’s martial arts tradition on an international screen.
While Indian wrestlers are making huge strides with their current Ground Zero project on Zee 5, Vidyut Jammwal certainly painted a nice picture and impression on the former champion’s mind.
