WWE 'concerned' about Jacob Fatu overshadowing Solo Sikoa: Rumors
Backstage news suggest that Fatu has signed for the company
Jacob Fatu is a real-life Bloodline member from the Anoa’i Wrestling Family. He is the son of Sam Fatu, cousin of The Usos and is the nephew of Rikishi, The Rock and Roman Reigns. Jacob Fatu was trained by Rikishi and made his debut in 2012. He states that The Usos are his inspirations for his professional wrestling career.
He spent the first seven years of his career in the independent promotions and moved to Major League Wrestling, teaming up with fellow Anoa’i family members there. He was an MLW World Heavyweight Champion there, holding the title for 819 days, which is the longest title reign in the history of MLW.
It was reported weeks ago that Jacob Fatu is signed with WWE and the rumors suggest that he will be debuting before Backlash 2024. However a rumor killer from PWInsider revealed that the Bloodline creative is laid out “meticulously”, and his return needs no rush. Now a latest report clarifies why Jacob Fatu’s debut is being delayed.
WWE’s concern on Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu
Wrestle Votes on X/Twitter reported an interesting tidbit from the sources. They have heard that Solo Sikoa’s aggressive booking in the recent weeks, since WrestleMania 40 is to make him the main force of the new Bloodline, before Jacob Fatu’s WWE debut. The source reported that the company is fearing that Jacob Fatu could overshine Solo at this stage.
Wrestle Votes tweet,
The Bloodline is one of the most dominant factions in WWE, which has been ruling the company for the last three and a half years under the leadership of Roman Reigns. However, since WrestleMania 40, after Roman Reigns’ absence, things have been going differently with the faction. Solo Sikoa has the faction in control, making important decisions by replacing Jimmy Uso with Tama Tonga & bringing Tanga Loa at Backlash in France.
