WWE confirms date & location for second edition of Saturday Night's Main Event

WWE is bringing back Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14
The Stamford-based promotion is bringing back Saturday Night’s Main Event after its last revived run in 2008. The classic show will return later this year, with a special broadcast on both NBC and Peacock on December 14 at 8 p.m. ET.
The promotion is bringing back its iconic SNME series, and the upcoming event will take place at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, New York. As part of WWE’s new agreement to move SmackDown from Fox to USA, SNME will now air on NBC.
The first edition of this event will feature the grudge match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, with the American Nightmare’s Undisputed title on the line.
The event features two more title clashes. Gunther will defend his heavyweight crown against Finn Balor. At the same time, Liv Morgan will face the #1 contender, Iyo Sky, with the Women’s World title on the line.

Texas will play host to the second edition of SNME
Ahead of the highly anticipated return of the SNME next week in Long Island, New York. The Stamford-based promotion announced their plans for the second edition of SNME next month.
The promotion announced via a press release that the second edition of SNME will take place on Saturday, January 25 at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. The event will be just one week before the 2025 Royal Rumble which is scheduled for February 1st in Indianapolis.
“The next Saturday Night’s Main Event primetime special will air live on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 8/7 C on NBC and simulcast on Peacock. The special will be held at Frost Bank Center – home of the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs – in San Antonio, Texas.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.com. Presale for Saturday Night’s Main Event tickets will begin Wednesday, Dec. 11, at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. General tickets for Saturday Night’s Main Event will go on sale Friday, December 13 at 10 a.m. via FrostBankCenter.com or Ticketmaster.com. Pre-sale for the event will start on Wednesday, December 11 at 11 am ET/10 am CT.
However, the promotion has not provided any updates regarding the matches of the stars who are slated for the second edition of the show in San Antonio, Texas.
