WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 Summary and Highlights

Women’s Elimination Chamber match

Naomi and Morgan were ready to start the action as the remaining four women awaited inside the pods. Jade Cargill’s music hit, and she made her return before the match even began. Cargill immediately went after Naomi, battering her as Belair tried to plead with her.

Cargill continued slamming Naomi against the pods, as officials and security scrambled to control the situation. Cargill then slammed Naomi’s head onto the Chamber gates before leaving, with officials rushing in to check on Naomi.

A stretcher was brought in as Liv Morgan yelled, “I told you so!” Naomi had been deemed unable to compete and was effectively eliminated. The timer ran out, and Bianca Belair was chosen to enter the Chamber match. Belair went to check on Naomi, who was being stretchered out of the arena, but Morgan attacked Belair and slammed her into the pods.

Morgan continued the beatdown, mocking Belair and falling in front of the Toronto fans. Belair fought back, sending Morgan face-first into the turnbuckle, followed by a slam. She went for the cover, but Liv kicked out.

The timer ran out again, and Roxanne Perez entered the match. The timer ran out once more, and it was now Bayley’s turn. Perez and Bayley immediately went at it. Bayley used the pod to her advantage, slamming Roxanne into the wall before turning her attention to Morgan, slamming her into the steel wall.

Bayley hit a Bayley-to-Belly on Perez against the Chamber wall. Bayley and Belair then faced off, and the action intensified. Bayley covered Belair, but Bianca kicked out at two. Bayley climbed to the top rope, but Perez intercepted, powerbombing Bayley on the outside.

Perez hit a frog splash from the top rope and went for the cover, but Bayley kicked out. Morgan landed a codebreaker out of nowhere on Perez and went for the cover, but Perez kicked out. The timer ran out for the final time, and Alexa Bliss entered the match!

Out of nowhere, Bliss hit Oblivion and eliminated Bayley, leaving four women in the match. Belair and Morgan climbed to the top of the pod, where Bianca whipped Liv with her braid. Morgan tried to hang on but crashed onto the floor.

Belair rallied the crowd and took out everyone with a crossbody from the top of the pod. Alexa Bliss hit Twisted Bliss on Perez and went for the cover, but Roxanne Perez was eliminated. Bliss then landed Sister Abigail, but Morgan used Belair’s braid to roll up Bliss, eliminating Alexa Bliss.

Morgan went for another cover on Belair—One, Two, but Bianca kicked out, and the match continued. Belair picked up Morgan and slammed her off the cage and the pod, followed by a powerbomb. Belair climbed to the top rope for a 450 splash, but Liv had her knees up.

Bianca attempted the KOD, but Morgan countered with another codebreaker. Morgan went for Oblivion, but Belair reversed it into the KOD. She went for the cover—One, Two, Three! Bianca Belair won and is going to WrestleMania 41.

Bianca celebrated her victory as Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley made her entrance, holding her title. Iyo Sky joined Ripley, and the three women stared each other down in a tense face-off.

Tiffany Stratton & Trish Stratus vs Nia Jax & Candice LeRae – Tag Team match

The bell rang, and the match was underway. Trish and LeRae started the action, with Stratus taking down Candice early on. Nia Jax tried to rush in for an attack, but Tiffany Stratton joined forces with Stratus to take down Jax.

Stratus then shifted her attention to LeRae, but Jax once again pulled her out of the ring. Stratton landed a flying elbow from the steel steps as LeRae attacked Stratton. LeRae tagged in Jax, who continued the assault on Stratus, and the crowd erupted in “We want Tiffy!” chants.

Candice was tagged in, and Stratus tried to fight out of the corner, but LeRae backed her into the corner and attacked Stratton. Stratton climbed back into the corner and pleaded for a cover, but Stratus managed to tag in the champion, and Stratton charged in on LeRae.

Tiffany took care of Nia, landing an Alabama Slam on Candice, followed by a spinebuster on Nia and a double crossbody. She went for the cover on Candice, but Candice kicked out. Stratton climbed to the top rope, but Candice intercepted and tagged in Jax, who landed a brutal leg drop.

She went for the cover, but Tiffany kicked out. Stratton fought back with a suplex and tagged in Stratus, who was tagged in on the other side by LeRae. Jax climbed to the top rope, and Stratus joined her, landing a super Stratisfaction. She went for the cover, but Candice landed a moonsault to break it up.

Stratton, now the official woman in the match, took care of LeRae and landed the “Prettiest Moonsault Ever” on Nia Jax. She went for the cover—One, Two, Three! Stratton pinned Jax, and Tiffany Stratton & Trish Stratus defeated Nia Jax & Candice LeRae in the tag team clash.

Unsanctioned Match – Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn

The bell rang, and the Unsanctioned Match began as Zayn and KO sized each other up. Zayn tried to talk to KO, but Owens threw the first punch. The two brawled as Zayn checked his neck, with KO slamming Sami’s ribs on the ropes.

The action spilled ringside as the crowd chanted, “We want tables!” Zayn pushed KO back into the ring, bringing in steel chairs. Zayn entered but was immediately hit with a chair shot from KO. Owens continued his assault, but Zayn dodged another chair shot, causing KO to hit the ropes and bounce the chair off his own face.

Zayn took control, battering KO with the chair. He stacked chairs on KO and went to get a hockey stick, with the Canadian crowd cheering. Zayn attacked with the stick, but KO managed to escape and roll out of the ring. Zayn set up a table ringside, only for KO to regain control, using the hockey stick on Zayn and biting him. KO set up his own table on top of the first one.

The fight moved into the crowd, where Zayn drove KO into the barricade and attacked with a trash can. KO fired back with a bottle, but Sami hit a Blue Thunder Bomb through a table onto the concrete. He followed it with another Blue Thunder Bomb onto a second table filled with bottles and glasses.

The crowd chanted, “This is awesome!” as Zayn dragged KO back to the arena floor. Zayn attacked with a trash can lid while KO struggled to stand. Owens fought back with the ring bell and the trash can lid, then used Wade Barrett’s monitor to attack Zayn.

Back in the ring, KO climbed the top rope, and Zayn joined him for a battle on the ropes. Owens slid out and shoved Zayn through the two stacked tables ringside.

Owens went for the Pop-Up Powerbomb, but Zayn countered, landing multiple suplexes. Sami lined up for the Helluva Kick, but KO dodged and the kick accidentally took out the referee. Kevin seized the opportunity and hit the Stunner, but there was no official to count. Charles Robinson rushed in to make the cover, but Zayn kicked out, causing KO to lose it and attack the referee.

Another official entered to check on both refs, and KO brought in another table, setting it up in the ring. Owens headbutted Zayn, laid him on the table, and placed a steel chair on top. Owens climbed to the top rope, but Sami threw the chair into KO’s face.

Zayn then joined Owens on the top rope, attempting to hook him, but KO turned it into a fisherman buster, driving Sami through the table. The crowd was in disbelief as Owens covered, but Zayn kicked out at two, still fighting to stay in the match.

Officials tried to convince Kevin Owens to end the match, stating that Sami Zayn had endured enough punishment, but KO refused, continuing his assault while yelling at the officials. More steel chairs were brought into the ring, and Zayn introduced a barbed wire-wrapped chair. The officials pleaded with him not to bring it in, but Zayn ignored them, bringing the chair into the ring as “ECW” chants erupted from the crowd.

KO tried to fight back, but Zayn retaliated with a brutal chair shot, the barbed wire causing severe damage as Owens screamed in pain. Zayn lined up for another strike, but Owens fought back, only for Zayn to lock his legs and slam his face into the barbed wire chair.

Zayn then delivered a Blue Thunder Bomb onto the barbed wire chair, going for the cover, but Owens kicked out, keeping the match alive. The crowd erupted in “This is Awesome” chants as both former friends struggled to recover.

Sami attempted the Helluva Kick, but Owens countered into a Pop-Up Powerbomb. Zayn rolled out of the ring, and KO followed, placing the steel chair around Sami’s neck before slamming him into the ring post. He followed up with another brutal slam on the ring post, causing the crowd to fall silent.

Owens delivered a second Pop-Up Powerbomb on the edge of the ring, then took a breather as the official checked on Zayn. Multiple officials tried to intervene, but KO went for a third powerbomb. Zayn fought back, but Owens delivered a final powerbomb on the edge of the ring.

Back inside the ring, Owens covered Zayn, and the official counted, ONE, TWO, THREE! Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn in the unsanctioned match.

After the match, security rushed to get Kevin Owens out of the ring, but Owens turned back, ripping the padding off the concrete floor and dragging Sami Zayn out of the ring. Suddenly, Randy Orton’s music hit, and the crowd erupted as The Viper made his way to the ring!

Owens got back inside the ring, calling on Orton, who eagerly obliged, setting the stage for some much-needed payback. Orton and Owens clashed in the middle of the ring, with Randy hitting his iconic RKO on Owens. The crowd cheered wildly as “Randy” chants filled the arena.

With the steel chair in his hand, Orton paused, looking around at the crowd before tossing the chair out of the ring. He adjusted his knee pad, signaling that something big was coming—after all, it had been a long time coming.

The Legend Killer lines KO up for the punt, but before he could strike, security and officials rushed in, intercepting him mid-way. Owens took advantage and quickly retreated backstage. But Orton wasn’t done. In a fit of rage, he unleashed a flurry of RKOs, taking out four security guards in the process. The arena was buzzing as Orton wreaked havoc, proving that the Viper was back in full force!

Men’s Elimination Chamber match

The bell rang, and the men’s Elimination Chamber match kicked off with Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre. Both men attempted their finishers early, with Rollins hammering McIntyre ringside. Drew fired back, slamming Seth into the barricade.

McIntyre continued to punish Rollins, exchanging words with CM Punk. Rollins capitalized, slamming McIntyre’s head onto Punk’s pod, which the latter enjoyed watching. The battle continued with McIntyre exposing the turnbuckle and slamming Seth’s throat onto it.

The timer ran out, and Damian Priest entered as the third competitor, clashing with McIntyre. Both men fought on the top rope, with Damian pushing Drew, who was hanging upside down. Rollins joined in, throwing both men off while hanging.

The timer ran out again, and Logan Paul entered to a chorus of boos. He landed a crossbody on Drew and went for the cover, then followed it up with a moonsault on Priest, but neither man was eliminated. Logan battered Rollins and mocked the Canadian crowd, but Damian joined in and slammed Logan into an empty pod.

Damian continued to batter Logan, and the crowd erupted in cheers. McIntyre attacked Priest, and Paul capitalized with a vicious right hand on Damian. He then turned his attention to Rollins, but Seth retaliated with a kick and covered, though Paul kicked out.

The timer ran out once more, and it was time for the G.O.A.T., John Cena, to enter the final Chamber match of his career. Cena cleaned house, delivering Attitude Adjustments and a Five Knuckle Shuffle to Logan. McIntyre, however, landed a Claymore on Cena but was rolled up by Priest for a pin, and Drew was eliminated. Frustrated, Drew lost his cool and delivered a Claymore to Priest, but officials forced him to leave the ring.

Logan Paul climbed to the top of CM Punk’s pod and landed a frog splash on Priest, pinning him for the elimination. The timer ran out for the final time, and CM Punk charged at Paul, slamming his head off the empty pod. Punk then focused on Cena, and the crowd erupted.

Rollins joined in, taking down Punk with a brutal kick. Cena tried to intervene, but Seth advised him to stay out. Cena and Rollins battled in the ring as Logan took both men down with a clothesline. He then targeted Punk, but the former Champion countered with the GTS, and Logan was eliminated.

Now, only Cena, Punk, and Rollins remained. Punk and Cena stood face-to-face, embracing each other before exchanging punches in the middle of the ring. Cena hit the shoulder tackle, Punk countered with a running knee, but Cena avoided it.

Punk attempted the GTS, but Cena countered into the STF. Punk fought back, locking in the Anaconda Vice, but Cena powered through, rolling into a cover. Punk kicked out. Punk climbed to the top rope, but Cena rolled through his splash attempt, lifting Punk for an Attitude Adjustment. However, Punk kicked out.

Cena ascended to the top rope, but Rollins intercepted, hitting a buckle bomb onto the steel chains. Seth threw Cena into a pod, which crashed down on Cena’s body. Rollins picked up Punk for a pedigree outside the ring, but Punk countered and climbed to the top rope. Rollins joined him, but Punk dropped him on his face and delivered a flying elbow.

Punk signaled for the GTS, picked up Rollins for the finish, but Seth countered with a buckle bomb and followed it up with a vicious stomp. Rollins covered, but Punk kicked out. Punk then landed the GTS and, just as Cena joined in with an Attitude Adjustment, Punk covered Rollins. Seth Rollins had been eliminated, leaving only two men in the Chamber.

Cena offered a handshake to Punk, but instead, Punk picked him up and landed the GTS. He covered, but Cena kicked out. Cena then delivered the Attitude Adjustment to Punk, covering again, but Punk managed to kick out. The match raged on as Punk and Cena continued to battle it out, but Seth was still in the Chamber as he landed a brutal stomp on Punk.

Cena quickly capitalized, locking in the STF. Punk fought through the pain, refusing to tap out, but ultimately, he succumbed to the pressure and passed out, leading to his elimination. With Punk eliminated, Cena stood tall as the winner of the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber match. The crowd erupted as Cena celebrated his victory, having earned his spot at WrestleMania 41.

John Cena – Cody Rhodes – The Rock with Travis Scott segment

“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes‘ music hit as John Cena celebrated, and the Undisputed WWE Champion made his way into the ring. Cena pulled the ropes down to welcome the champion, pointing to the WrestleMania sign as the two stars exchanged words ahead of their Mania showdown.

Rhodes embraced Cena as The Rock’s music hit, and Travis Scott appeared. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Travis Scott stepped into the ring, sizing up Rhodes and Cena. Johnson picked up the mic and stated that the moment had arrived. He said he would open his arms to embrace Cody as his champion, calling him his brother.

The Rock asked for Cody’s soul once again and reminded him that if the answer was yes, The American Nightmare would live forever, but if the answer was no, the dream would die “again!” Johnson opened his arms as Rhodes looked around, picking up the mic to say that he wanted it all.

Rhodes stated that his soul no longer belonged to him because he gave his soul to this ring and to these people a long time ago. The crowd erupted in cheers as Cody told The Rock to go f*** himself. John Cena couldn’t believe his ears, and neither could the crowd.

Johnson stood still in the ring, looking at Cena, who pointed towards Rhodes. Cena then embraced Rhodes, but The Rock signaled, and Cena landed a low blow to Cody Rhodes. John Cena had turned heel. Cena wore the brass knuckles and continued brutalizing Cody as The Rock watched on.

Cena picked up the Undisputed title and slammed it onto Rhodes’ head, taking down the champion as the crowd looked on in disbelief. Rhodes got up again, only to eat another title shot from Cena. Bloodied now, Rhodes struggled as John ripped apart his suit and choked him with the tie.

Travis Scott got involved, and he and Cena lined Cody up. The Rock then joined in, battering Cody with the belt he introduced the previous night on SmackDown, with “Cody’s Soul” written on it.

Cena put his foot on Cody’s head as “You sold out!” chants filled the arena. The Rock used Cody’s blood, slamming the belt again as Cody cried in pain. Cena threw the Undisputed title onto Rhodes and left the ring. Scott and Johnson followed suit as Cody nursed his injuries, unable to fight back against the brutal attack.
