Naomi cashes in her Money in the Bank briefcase
What began as a brutal, athletic showcase between Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley ended with Naomi shocking the world at WWE Evolution 2025.
After an instant classic between two of WWE’s most dominant women, Naomi stormed down with the Money in the Bank briefcase, turning the title match into a triple threat and walking out with the Women’s World Championship.
The original singles match opened at a blistering pace. Sky and Ripley went hold for hold, with Sky using her speed and technique to offset Ripley’s raw strength.
From chain wrestling to high-impact strikes, neither woman gave an inch. Iyo connected with an Asai moonsault early, while Ripley punished the champion with a brutal Razor’s Edge into a Liger Bomb for a near-fall.
Rhea Ripley takes out the referee
The action eventually spilled outside. Iyo flew off production cases with a diving crossbody, while Ripley drove her ribs-first into the announce desk. Just when Ripley hit a Riptide that could have ended it, referee Jessika Carr was down, courtesy of an accidental missile dropkick from Sky.
The match continued to build drama as the women fought back into the ring. Iyo delivered a moonsault, but Ripley kicked out to shock the crowd. In a final desperate attempt, Sky hit a top-rope Spanish Fly… but the match was far from over.
Naomi cashes in to steal the win
Just as both women were crawling to their feet, Naomi’s music hit. With referee Aja Perera in tow, she cashed in her MITB briefcase. A shot with the case knocked Sky out cold.
Naomi then threw Ripley into the steel post and soared off the top with a split-legged moonsault, pinning Sky to win her first Women’s World Championship in WWE.
The crowd in Atlanta erupted as Naomi stood tall, having taken full advantage of the chaos. A picture-perfect ending to a wild title bout.
