Mark Henry ranks Roman Reigns as wrestling’s biggest attraction.
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has shared a surprising take on who he believes are the biggest attractions in professional wrestling today, placing Roman Reigns firmly at the top while ranking Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi ahead of CM Punk and Cody Rhodes.
Speaking with WrestleView in an interview courtesy of Casino.org, Henry was asked who he considers the biggest draw across all of professional wrestling. His answer put Roman Reigns in a class of his own while elevating two other WWE stars above some of the company’s biggest names.
The comments come at a time when WWE boasts one of its deepest rosters in years, featuring stars such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi, while AEW continues to rely on talents including Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho and MJF.
Mark Henry puts Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi above CM Punk

When discussing WWE‘s biggest attractions, Henry made it clear that he believes Roman Reigns remains the company’s premier star.
“I don’t think Cody Rhodes or CM Punk are WWE’s biggest attraction. I think Roman is in the driver’s seat as the main star. He’s championship material. I’d also put Brock or Oba Femi ahead of Punk and Cody, but I would definitely put Roman at the top of the pile.”
While Henry placed Punk behind Lesnar and Femi as an attraction, he still praised the former WWE Champion’s in-ring ability later in the interview.
Discussing the current landscape of wrestling heels, Henry named Dominik Mysterio, MJF, and Fatal Influence as his three favorite heel acts.
“Right now, I think Dominik is great. AEW-wise, Maxwell Jacob Friedman is also great. I would also say that Fatal Influence are great villains. They’ve definitely entered the chat when it comes to people not liking them.”
He added that the audience reaction alone proves how effective the faction has become.
“All you’ve got to do is listen as soon as one of them grabs the microphone. The crowd immediately boos. They don’t even want to hear them talk.”
Henry also praised MJF’s versatility.
“He makes no apologies, and he’s a tough guy that can do all the roles. He can be good; he can be bad. There’s no limit to where you can put him.”
Mark Henry believes Sami Zayn lost the title too soon

Henry also addressed Sami Zayn’s nine-day reign as Undisputed WWE Champion, admitting he disagreed with WWE’s decision to end it so quickly.
“I thought that it was the wrong decision. The trigger was pulled too soon.”
He said he would have preferred to see Zayn receive a rematch while continuing to evolve his character before eventually dropping the championship.
Henry acknowledged that WWE likely made the move to position CM Punk for SummerSlam, even if it came at Zayn’s expense.
“I think they maybe sacrificed Zayn to get Punk at SummerSlam, but everything is a sacrifice in wrestling.”
Despite that criticism, Henry believes Punk was fully justified in his immediate return to the championship picture.
“I think they see Punk as a star. He’s an unbelievable talent with a lot of upsides still. You look at the match that he had with Sami Zayn, you look at the match he had with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, the man has no weakness. We always need to see that version of CM Punk.”
Henry concluded by emphasizing that established stars like Punk do not necessarily need lengthy rebuilding programs upon returning.
“The cream just rose to the top. But that doesn’t mean Sami is any less valuable. It’s just a matter of timing.”
