Iyo Sky is a former WWE Women’s World champion!

Masami Odate (born May 8, 1990), known in WWE as Iyo Sky, is a celebrated Japanese professional wrestler performing on the Raw brand. Renowned for her athleticism and technical skill, she is widely regarded as one of the best women’s wrestlers in the world.

Before WWE, she wrestled as Io Shirai in Japan’s Stardom promotion, where she became the first Grand Slam Champion, holding every major women’s title, and was recognized as the “ace” of Stardom. She also co-founded the famed stable Queen’s Quest and received Tokyo Sports’ Joshi Puroresu Grand Prize three consecutive years (2015–2017).

After signing with WWE in 2018, she debuted in the Mae Young Classic and later dominated NXT, capturing both the NXT Women’s and Tag Team Championships. Rebranded as ‘IYO SKY’ in 2022, she joined Bayley’s Damage CTRL faction on the main roster.

Sky won the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2023 and cashed in at SummerSlam to become WWE Women’s Champion. She later captured the Women’s World Championship in 2025, becoming a WWE Women’s Grand Slam Champion, the first Japanese wrestler in history to achieve Grand Slam status in both Japan and the U.S.
