WWE Main Event’s historic debut.

The WWE Main Event TV show returns on Wednesday, October 21, showcasing four matches that include RAW, SmackDown, and NXT superstars. Weekly shows provide the chance for the established and emerging superstars to get some momentum on a show outside the mainstream storyline.

Previously, the pre-recorded matches were available for viewing through YouTube, but now they can only be viewed through the Rumble from October 2026.

In this week’s show, there will be a combination of singles and tag team matches where some of the participants will be making a statement before their upcoming appearances. Check out our preview of tonight’s WWE Main Event along with its scheduled matches and much more.

Chelsea Green will face Lainey Reid in a non-title contest, giving the reigning champion an opportunity to compete without putting her championship on the line.

Green’s experience and ability to control the pace could make her a difficult opponent for Reid, who will be eager to make the most of the opportunity. A victory for Reid would be a significant result, while Green will want to avoid an upset that could affect her momentum in the women’s division.

The MFTs vs Fraxiom

The MFTs will face Fraxiom in a tag-team contest that pits the faction’s physical approach against the speed and teamwork of Nathan Frazer and Axiom. The MFTs will look to use their strength to limit their opponents’ movement, while Fraxiom will need quick exchanges and well-timed double-team manoeuvres to create openings.

The result could provide a momentum boost for either side, particularly as both teams look to strengthen their position in the tag-team division.

Sol Ruca vs Candice LeRae

Sol Ruca will face Candice LeRae in a singles match featuring two performers with contrasting approaches. Ruca’s athleticism and explosive offence have helped her build momentum, while LeRae brings years of experience and a calculated in-ring style.

Ruca will look to use her agility to keep the contest moving, but LeRae could attempt to slow the pace and target openings. The match offers both competitors a chance to make a statement and potentially strengthen their standing for future opportunities.

Otis vs Bronson Reed

Otis and Bronson Reed will collide in a heavyweight encounter built around power and physicality. Both competitors can impose themselves with their size, making it difficult for either man to maintain control for long.

Otis will look to turn the contest into a battle of strength, while Reed’s explosive offence and ability to overwhelm opponents could prove decisive. A win for either superstar would offer a useful boost as they continue to pursue bigger opportunities on WWE television.
