The Men’s Money in the Bank match closed out the PLE!

After four explosive matches, which also saw Tiffany Stratton win the 2026 Women’s MITB ladder match, the main event featuring the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match closed out the show. The Men’s MITB Ladder Match featured Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Penta, CM Punk, and Kevin Owens.

These six superstars competed in a high-stakes ladder match, aiming to climb the ladder and retrieve the briefcase, which guarantees a future opportunity to challenge for a world championship at a time of their choosing.

‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk walked out first for the main event, followed by Bron Breakker and Trick Williams, who came out accompanied by Lil Yachty. Je’Von Evans came out next, while Kevin Owens and Penta concluded the entrances for WWE MITB 2026.

The first attempt to grab the briefcase came as Penta took out the field via a dive. Breakker halted Penta’s attempts with a German suplex and started to manhandle the rest of the field.

Breakker then attempted to climb the ladder as Punk halted the advance, while Evans tried it on the other side and Owens halted the climb. Punk then tried to run up the ladder, but Owens made sure Punk didn’t grab the briefcase.

Williams tried the climb as Breakker stopped the advance and sent Owens to the floor as KO tried the climb. Penta was next to attempt the climb, but Bron took him down with a knee.

The action spilled ringside, with four men in the timekeeper’s area. Evans was looking to attempt a dive, but Breakker intercepted him with a vicious spear. Officials rushed in to check on Evans, and the medical staff soon arrived to check on him.

Meanwhile, back in the ring, Punk climbed the ladder as Bron intercepted him. Ringside, a stretcher was brought out to take Evans to the back and likely give him much-needed medical attention.

The match continued with Williams looking to hop up the ladder and bag the briefcase, but Penta stepped in, still hopping on his leg, dealing with the leg injury. The camera went backstage, revealing Evans being loaded into an Ambulance and being taken to a hospital.

Yachty aided Williams in taking down Breakker and started climbing, but Owens halted the momentum, while Yachty himself tried to climb the briefcase but stopped after he saw KO, who then took him out with a Stunner. Owens then climbed up the ladder as Punk joined him.

Punk sent Owens collapsing, but Penta joined in, stopping Punk to grab the briefcase. Punk took down Penta with a GTS and climbed up the ladder, looking to capture the briefcase for the third time. However, KO spoiled the party, gouging Punk’s eyes as the two continued beating each other down.

Ringside, Breakker started taking down everyone, spearing Punk and Owens through the barricade as an Ambulance started rolling and stopped ringside. Breakker went on to ask the driver to take the Ambulance back, but Evans appeared, slamming the door in Bron’s face before leaping from the driver’s seat onto Bron.

Evans cleaned out the field as the crowd roared for him to climb the ladder and make history as the youngest ever MITB winner. Evans erected a massive ladder as Breakker stepped into the ring; Bron intercepted Evans’ climb and lined up for a Spear, but Evans caught him with a kick.

Evans climbed the ladder, but it was too far from the briefcase. Breakker started tilting the ladder as Evans went crashing through the roof of the ambulance ringside.

Breakker then hoisted the ladder as Penta dragged him down. Both men climbed the ladder as Penta delivered the Mexican Destroyer onto the ladder. Penta then climbed the ladder to unlatch the briefcase and win the 2026 men’s Money in the Bank.

The luchador, after a setback against Roman Reigns on Raw in Mexico City, is now the 2026 Mr. Money in the Bank and has the chance to cash in anytime and anywhere of his choosing.
