Montez Ford has landed himself and WWE in hot water.
While WWE is currently looking at the possibility of hosting upcoming PLE, Crown Jewel 2026, in Saudi Arabia, the promotion made headlines for another reason. As per the reports, Cook County Sheriff’s officer filed a lawsuit against WWE star Montez Ford and the company as well.
Ford is one-half of The Street Profits in WWE. The duo is an integral part of WWE’s tag team division. Despite that, Ford’s actions have landed him and the company in major trouble after they were slapped with a lawsuit over an incident on Monday Night RAW a few months ago.

WWE and Montez Ford are facing a lawsuit
According to an update from POST Wrestling, a Cook County Sheriff’s officer named Noel Lucas has filed a lawsuit against Ford and WWE. He was working as security personnel for the July 6 episode of RAW in Chicago, Illinois. As the Street Profits were making their entrance through the crowd, Ford performed a sexualized “lap dance” on him, and WWE promoted the same on social media.
Lucas has alleged 14 counts in the Circuit Court of Cook County, including battery, emotional distress, assault, and violations of the Illinois Gender Violence Act. The defendants in the lawsuit are WWE, Ford, and WWE’s subsidiary Event Services, LLC. As of this writing, the WWE RAW episode on Netflix does not include the altercation between the WWE star and Noel Lucas.
What did Noel Lucas say about Montez Ford’s actions?

Noel Lucas said the wrestler acted inappropriately without his consent. As the clip went viral online, he was recognized and mocked by a lot of people, imitating Ford’s dance, sexual movements, and thrusting their hips in his direction the very next day he went to work at a courthouse.
Furthermore, Lucas also revealed that his children were also mocked after the video was circulated online. Witnessing his kids enduring such encounters, Lucas said that he has “suffered humiliation, embarrassment, and emotional distress,” and continues to endure the same as the clip is still online.
Incidentally, the current Netflix version of the July 6 RAW reportedly cuts away early during the Street Profits’ entrance. But the footage of the interaction remains widely available online.
With a crisis at hand, we will have to wait and see whether WWE or Ford releases a statement to address the issue.
