Oba Femi overcomes Jey Uso to secure a world title opportunity at SummerSlam.

Oba Femi added another major accolade to his rapidly growing resume by defeating Jey Uso in the King of the Ring final at WWE Night of Champions 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In a physical contest that showcased power against resilience, Femi survived Uso’s relentless offense before planting him with Fall From Grace to claim the crown.

The victory makes Oba Femi the 2026 King of the Ring and earns him a championship match for either of WWE’s men’s world titles at SummerSlam, marking the biggest win of his career to date.

Oba Femi’s strength proves too much for Jey Uso

Femi wasted little time asserting his dominance, grabbing Uso by the head and throwing him into the corner before flattening him with a massive shoulder tackle. Jey answered back with elbows and his signature right hand, but the strikes barely fazed the powerhouse.

The action quickly spilled outside the ring, where Femi attempted to launch Uso into the ring post. Instead, Uso slipped free and turned the tables, sending the Ruler crashing into the steel post to gain the early advantage.

Back inside the ring, Uso built momentum with consecutive suicide dives, only for Femi to stop a third attempt with a devastating elbow strike. The King of the Ring finalist immediately regained control with a shoulderbreaker, a kick to the spine, repeated right hands, and a crushing whip into the corner that left Uso struggling to stand.

Jey narrowly escaped a chokeslam attempt and fired back with kicks and an aerial attack from the top rope. However, Femi sat up with incredible strength, caught Uso by the throat, and delivered a thunderous chokeslam for a dramatic nearfall that nearly ended the contest.

Refusing to quit, Uso connected with three superkicks, followed by a spear and a diving splash. Although the impact left Femi reeling, Jey was too exhausted to capitalize immediately. A second splash earned another nearfall, but the Ruler kicked out once again.

Uso then locked in a sleeper hold in a desperate attempt to put Femi away. The powerhouse responded by powering back to his feet and throwing Uso aside before absorbing another superkick.

That proved to be Jey’s final opening. Femi answered with two crushing running uppercuts before hoisting Uso into the air for a thunderous tossing powerbomb. Moments later, he connected with his devastating Fall From Grace finisher to score the decisive three-count.

With the victory, Oba Femi officially becomes the 2026 King of the Ring and now has the opportunity to challenge for either of WWE’s men’s world championships at SummerSlam, firmly establishing himself as one of the company’s fastest-rising stars.
