WWE NXT (January 20, 2026): NXT title ladder match qualifiers; Ethan Page & Sol Ruca in action & more set for next week

The fallout show of New Year’s Evil featured two title clashes.
The fallout from WWE NXT New Year’s Evil emanated from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. General Manager Ava addresses the future of the NXT Championship after Oba Femi vacated it during New Year’s Evil.
Keanu Carver made his official debut, while Lola Vice defeated Kelani Jordan in singles action, which was announced following their last week’s scruffle. On the other hand, Jasper Troy defeated Tavion Heights via pinfall to retain the Men’s Speed title.
Furthermore, Jaida Parker made her return to attack Blake Monroe, interrupting the former Women’s North American Champion’s promo. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defeated Shiloh Hill to retain the TNA International title.
Following last week’s fiasco, where Izzi Dame outsmarted Tatum Paxley to answer Thea Hail’s open challenge and then capture the Women’s North American title, Paxley launched a vicious attack on the new champion, Izzi Dame.
In the main event of the show, Joe Hendry defeated Dion Lennox to win in the No Disqualification match. However, Tony D’Angelo attacked both men before draping Hendry over Lennox for the pin and then fought off security, trying to contain him to end the show.
Ethan Page will defend the North American title against Elio LeFleur

During the January 13 show, WWE NXT also announced matches for next week’s show. NXT North American Champion Ethan Page is set to defend the title against the debuting Elio LeFluer. Ava informed Page during a backstage segment, where he tried to secure a spot in one of the upcoming qualifying matches for the NXT title.
GM Ava also announced that she and TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella had agreed to a three-team showdown next week, with Zaruca (Sol Ruca & Zaria), Wren-QCC (Wren Sinclair & Kendal Gray), and Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) battling it out in a number 1 contenders match for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.
During the opening moments of the show, where Ava addresses the future of the NXT title, the GM shut down Ricky Saint’s demand to hand the title over.
Instead, she announced a six-man Ladder match for the NXT Championship on February 3. Qualifying matches will kick off next week, with the winner of the ladder match emerging as the new standard-bearer of the men’s division.
Two qualifying bouts for the six-man Ladder Match have been confirmed for the January 20 episode: Josh Briggs will face Shiloh Hill, while Sean Legacy goes one-on-one with Eli Knight.
