The July 22 episode of WWE NXT aired live from the 713 Music Hall in Houston, Texas. The show featured the aftermath from the 2025 edition of TNA Slammiversary, which saw Jacy Jayne win the TNA Knockouts World title, while Trick Williams retained the TNA World title.
The Undertaker, as announced, also made an appearance, while Blake Monroe made her in-ring debut in the developmental brand. In the first match of the show, The Culling (Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, Izzi Dame, and Tatum Paxley) defeated the team of Sol Ruca, Zaria, and Hank and Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger).

Jasper Troy defeated Ricky Saints via count-out, while Blake Monroe in her NXT in-ring debut defeated Wren Sinclair. After the match, Monroe went to cut a promo but was attacked by Jordynne Grace. Monroe got the better of the exchange as she delivered a butterfly DDT right onto the steel chair.
The Undertaker also made an appearance to confront the TNA World Champion Trick Williams. The two had a back-and-forth promo battle, which ended with the Hall of Famer chokeslamming Williams.
In the main event of the show, Oba Femi defended the NXT title in a triple-threat match against Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs. Femi pinned Briggs to win the match and retain the NXT title.
During the July 22 episode of WWE NXT, the developmental brand also announced the in-ring return of Santino Marella next week. The TNA on-screen director of authority made an appearance this week confornting the NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints.
Marella blasted “Eatan Pahgey” and challenged him to a clash next week. While Paige was ready to battle right then, he soon fled the scene when Santino pulled the Cobra out.
