A big title match is announced for the show!
Last week’s episode of WWE NXT, which was originally set to emanate from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, alongside several other shows, emanated as usual from the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida.
The episode served as the fallout show from the 2025 edition of NXT Battleground, which concluded on May 25. In the first match of the show, Ethan Page defeated Ricky Saints to become the new NXT North American Champion.
Mike Santana defeated Tavion Heights in a singles match, while Jaida Parker emerged victorious in the singles clash against Tatum Paxley. WWE LFG Season One winner Jasper Troy, who made his debut on this week’s show, defeated Dante Chen to pick up his first win.
Rey Fenix, Je’Von Evans, and AAA’s Laredo Kid interrupt Ethan Page’s celebration of his NXT North American Championship win, setting up a Fatal Four-Way Match for Worlds Collide. Additionally, a tag team match where Stephanie Vaquer will team up with Lola Vice to battle the team of Chik Tormenta and Dalys.
The tag match was set up following their backstage confrontation. In the main event of the show, NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer defended the title against Jacy Jayne. Vaquer was coming off a recent title defense at Battleground against Jordynne Grace.
Jayne shocked the entire crowd as she pinned Vaquer with interference from her stable, Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx). During the fallout show, the promotion also announced multiple matches for next week’s show.
The newly crowned TNA World Champion, Trick Williams, is set to defend the title against TNA’s Mike Santana, who interrupted his title celebration this week, setting up the clash.
A Rounds match is also announced for the show, where Charlie Dempsey will battle Myles Borne. If Borne wins in the clash, he can leave the No Quarter Catch Crew.
