Two NXT titles will be on the line this week!
This week’s episode of WWE NXT, which was originally set to emanate from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, alongside several other shows, will now emanate as usual from the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida.
The episode will serve as the fallout show from the 2025 edition of NXT Battleground, which emanated from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, on May 25. The show featured multiple matches along with four title clashes.
The TNA World title was also on the line, and NXT’s Trick Williams defeated TNA’s Joe Hendry to capture the TNA title. Stephanie Vaquer defeated Jordynne Grace to retain the NXT Women’s title, while Oba Femi defeated Myles Borne to retain the NXT title.
Furthermore, Sol Ruca pinned Kelani Jordan to retain the Women’s North American title and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defeated Tony D’Angelo. Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) teamed up with Josh Briggs and defeated The Culling (Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance, and Shawn Spears).
The developmental brand is now set to deliver the fallout show where Ricky Saints is set to defend the title against Ethan Page following their brawl last week, which brought out the constant hatred between them, forcing General Manager Ava to make the match official.
The episode will also feature the in-ring debut of WWE LFG’s Jasper Troy, following his attack on Oba Femi last week. Additionally, two singles matches are scheduled where TNA’s Mike Santana will face Travion Heights, while Tatum Paxley goes one-on-one with Jaida Parker.
NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer is also set for a title defense against Jacy Jayne after their backstage brawl at NXT Battleground.
