This week’s episode will serve as the fallout show for WWE NXT No Mercy!
The wait for WWE fans is almost over as the developmental brand gears up for the 2025 edition of NXT No Mercy. However, first it’s time for the weekly episode of NXT, which will set the stage for the upcoming PLE, where big stars are set to collide.
The September 23 go-home show of NXT will emanate from the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida. Multiple top names, including Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Myles Borne, Candice LeRae, Lexis King, and Lainey Reid, are set to compete on the show.

During a heated exchange last week at NXT Homecoming during the Grayson Waller Effect, Trick Williams interrupted and went after Oba Femi. TNA World Champion Trick Williams is now set to battle NXT Champion Oba Femi this week in a Title for Title, winner takes all match.
On the other hand, Candice LeRae and Lainey Reid will meet in the WWE Speed Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s match, where the winner will secure the spot in the finals against the reigning Champion, Sol Ruca.
Additionally, Myles Borne and Lexis King will once again collide, this time in a lights-out match. The two stars have been locked in an intense feud.
On the August 26th episode, King defeated Borne in a blindfold match. King won after hitting the referee, removing his blindfold, and delivering a low blow to Borne. Two weeks later, Borne got his revenge by turning off the lights in the locker room and attacking King with a steel chair.
