Brace yourselves, NXT Universe, because this week’s episode of WWE NXT promises to be another explosive chapter in the black-and-gold brand’s history. With explosive matches, high-stakes confrontations, and a historic press conference, NXT is primed to deliver another must-see episode.
WWE’s future TV arrangements will result in substantial changes over the next few months, with Monday Night RAW going to Netflix in January, Friday Night SmackDown returning from FOX to the USA Network, and NXT moving from USA to the CW Network next month.
As previously reported, WWE NXT is scheduled to undergo one of the first changes, with older NXT broadcasts moving from Peacock to The CW.
With these changes, WWE NXT has a great lineup of matches.

Ridge Holland vs Riley Osborne
The powerhouse Ridge Holland looks to bulldoze his way through Riley Osborne. Holland’s bruising style has made him a dominant force, but Osborne, with his technical prowess, can turn out to be a challenge. We can expect a clash that could set the tone for their future feuds.
The Grayson Waller Effect – Special Guests: A-Town Down Under & Fraxiom
Grayson Waller brings the chaos with his talk show, “The Grayson Waller Effect,” featuring none other than A-Town Down Under’s Austin Theory and Waller himself, alongside NXT’s dynamic duo Nathan Frazer and Axiom. With these combustible elements in one segment, fireworks are inevitable. Will Axiom and Frazer take their rivalry to a new level with Theory and Waller as catalysts?
NXT Women’s North American Title Match: Kelani Jordan (c) vs Wren Sinclair
Champion Kelani Jordan defends her coveted WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship against the rising Wren Sinclair. Sinclair has been on a meteoric rise, and this could be her moment to dethrone Jordan. But Kelani has shown incredible heart and resilience as a champion—can she once again dig deep to retain her title?
Oro Mensah vs Lexis King
WWE recently announced that Lexis King will face Oro Mensah in a highly awaited rematch on the September 24th episode of WWE NXT. This match comes after tensions between the two superstars erupted, with Mensah striking King inside a barbershop on the September 10th NXT broadcast.
The feud began after King won a contentious match against Mensah on the September 3rd edition of NXT, pinning him with ropes. Mensah will now seek atonement, while King seeks to assert his control.
NXT on CW Press Conference
As NXT gears up for its historic move to The CW Network on October 1, some of the brand’s biggest stars will take center stage for a special press conference. Reigning NXT World Champion Ethan Page and his fierce challenger Trick Williams will face off in a heated war of words ahead of their title clash.
Meanwhile, the newly signed Giulia, prepares for her first major test against Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship. Also present will be Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz, as they provide their final comments on their budding rivalry.
