WWE RAW Full Results & Winners (August 12, 2024): Bron Breakker retains the IC title

The terror twins brawl Judgment Day, Orton strikes Gunther with an RKO, Punk whips Drew, Bron Breakker retains & much more!
The August 12, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw is officially over and it is one of the msut watch shows in recent times. WWE has showcased some of the big matches and segments for the show, including a championship and a #1 Contender’s match. Get to know what happened this week on WWE Raw, as we came out with the complete show summary, results, winners and grades.
WWE Raw Summary & Results
Rhea Ripley kicks-off
Rhea Ripley kicked-off Monday Night Raw to cut a promo against Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan. She expressed how she feels, and said that Dom didn’t stab that deep and said that Liv can’t run that far from her with the title.
Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan interrupted Rhea Ripley, standing among the WWE Universe. Dom explained why she left Rhea for Liv saying that she didn’t got treated like the Man, and now he got a girl who calls him Daddy. He said that Liv gave him everything, that Rhea didn’t especially beating his dead beat dad.
Rhea said that she made Dom the champion and the man he is. Rhea is proud that Dom could make his own decision, but it will be is final decision, as they are coming after them. Rhea warns them to watch their back and Damian appeared behind them.
Damian Priest brawled with Dominik backstage and Rhea chased Liv. Priest ook Dom to the ring and tried for the South of Heaven’s Chokeslam, but Carlito made Dom escape.
Damian Priest vs Carlito
Damian Priest dominated Carlito right from the beginning with the big right hand and sending hin to the turnbuckles. Priest tries to finish him off with the South of Heavens Chokeslam, but Carlito escaped. Carlito ran away and Priest chased him to get him into the ring. Priest kicked him on the mid section and tried for a Razer’s edge, but Carlito countered with a DDT. Priest soon recovered to deliver a flatliner and went for the top rope, but Carlito stopped him to deliver a super-plex.
After the commercial, Priest bumped his head on the ring post and Carlito uses it to take control of him. Carlito’s strike fired up Priest, as he went for the spinning heel kick, leg strikes and big right hand. Priest tossed Carlito across the ring and both exchange strikes. Priest took Carlito with a big clothesline and hit him with the South of Heaven Chokeslam to win the match.
After the match, Judgement Day attacks Damian Priest and the number games takes him down. Rhea Ripley arrives and kicks Carlito on her way. Finn Balor is caught between them, but McDonagh saved him, by taking the superkick. Priest delivered a South of Heaven Chokeslam.
Damian and Rhea hug to celebrate, but Dom tried to jump on them. Priest caught Dom and sends her to Ripley for the Rip Tide, but Liv saved her. Judgment Day retreat and the Terror Twin stand tall.
Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy
Bo Dallas said that everything is coming full circle, as everything started in Baltimore, where Wyatt Sicks made their debut and he was there. He said that the work isn’t done and it must continue.
Backstage
Xavier Woods met Kofi Kingston and Odyssey Jones. Kofi was excited for Odyssey Jones in-ring debut and says that he is going to be on the ring side. Woods’ looks are not happy, seems like he doesn’t like Kofi being with Jones.
Odyssey Jones vs Vincent Winey
Odyssey Jones makes his way to the ring with the New Day. Jones fights Vincent Winey, a rookie. Winey tried to attack Jones, but he tossed him across the ring and slammed him in the middle of the ring. Jones rolled on Winey and delivered a spinning sidewalk slam to win the match. Kofi celebrates his win, but Woods is still not happy.
Final Testament interrupted them, saying that Kofi is using Odyssey Jones to replace Big E, but Kofi is using to replace Woods. Xavier Woods calls them for a tag team match next week, but Kofi wanrs a six-man tag team match with Jones involved.
Backstage
Drew McIntyre met Adam Pearce backstage and the Raw GM said that he can’t help him tonight, as Punk is not here still, due to travel issues. Drew says that Punk is his past. He asked why Randy Orton got the shot at the world title. He siad that he will handle that business tonight.
Texas Tornado Tag Team Match- Alpha Academy vs American Made
The match began with Otis sending Julius outside the ring. Akira Tozawa tried for a suicide dive, but Julius caught him to deliver a Belly to Belly suplex. Inside the ring, both the Creeds attack Otis. Tozawa with a Crossbody saves Otis from the Creeds. Otis took Tozawa on his shoulder and use him as a weapon to take down their opponent out and threw Tozawa outside the ring, over them.
After the commercial, The Creeds dominate Otis, sending Otis face first to the ring post and took Otis on the announcement table. Tozawa tried to stop them, but Brutus swinged him to the barricade. They took Akira to the ring, and tried to powerbomb, but Tozawa took them with the double DDT.
Otis got back and he fired up, he took both the Creeds down and hit the Caterpillar and bodyslam to Julius. Brutus stops him and they used the double team to take them down. Tozawa stops them. They tried to powerbomb Tozawa, but he took Julius with the Hurricanrana. The match went swinging and American Made took Otis to delivered a back drop. Tozawa hit the Senton from the top rope to take everyone down.
Maxxine got attacked by Ivy Nile and she locks her with her submission maneuver. Otis and Tozawa got distracted. Otis is sent out and they roll, Tozawa for the win.
Pete Dunne Interview
Pete Dunne is interviewed. He is asked about his rivalry with Sheamus. He says he is never under Sheamus wing and Sheamus was under him. He made him to forget his legacy under the name Butch. He doesn’t wanna hear that name and he looks rewrite the past.
Backstage
Bronson Reed and Adam Pearce discuss about the assault on Seth Rollins last week. Reed explains why he did that. If Adam Pearce doesn’t hive him an opponent, he will take it, by attacking the next victim.
#1 Contender’s Women’s Tag Team Championship Match- Damage CTRL vs The Pure Fusion Collective
The champs were at the ringside to spectate the match. Iyo Sky and Shayna Baszler started the match, with Sky taking Baszler to their corner and tags Kairi Sane in. Both with the double team took Baszler down and Kairi hit a corner splash and sent Baszler out. Zoey Stark tags in and they took Kairi with the double team.
After the commercial, Kairi Sane delivered a DDT on Baszler. Iyo and Zoey gets the tag and Sky is fired up. She takes both their opponents down with the missle drop kick and the double knees. Zoey took Iyo and tag Baszler, both tried to take Sky in control, but Kairi breaks. Kairi is sent out. Sky went for the top rope and Deville distracts.
Outside rhe ring, Zoey accidentally superkicked Alba Fyre, while targetting Iyo Sky. She took Zoey to the ring for the moonsault and goes for the pin, but Isla Dawn breaks it. The champ took both the team down.
Backstage
The Miz was upset on their loss last week. Truth said that he got Miz a championship match against Bron. But its revealed to be Bronson Reed. Randy Orton met Miz and motivated him to take him down, saying who he is.
Randy Orton, Gunther, Drew McIntyre & CM Punk
Randy Orton said that 20 years ago he won the World Championship for the first time to become the youngest world champion. He says that the history will repeat, when he become the 15 time world champion at Bash in Berlin.
The World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther interrupted Randy Orton and confronted him. Orton asked the WWE Universe to note this down, as he going to brat Gunther at Bash in Berlin and he will beat him to move back to the Monday nights. Gunther says that Orton is one of the GOAT, but he is not The GOAT. Gunther says that this is The Ring General’s Era. He says Orton don’t play any role in his era.
Orton says that he do done mistakes, but he learnt. Orton says Gunther who he is, by introducing him as the most unpredictable gimuy in the company. Orton says that he done it all, he is a 14 and soon to be a 15 time world champion. Gunther says that Orton is predictable. Gunther’s prediction: 1. Gunther gonne give Orton the beating at Bash in Berlin. 2. Orton can’t challenge for the world title again. 3. Everytime Orton gets the title shot he screwed up, because his Grandfather and Father are screw up and he is the biggest screw up them all.
Gunther and Orton have a close stare down and Drew McIntyre interrupted them. Gunther turned to see McIntyre and Orton delivered an RKO to Gunther.
McIntyre tried to attack Orton, but CM Punk attacked Drew. Drew pushed Punk to the steel steps and removes his belt to punish Punk, but Punk got the belt and he strikes McIntyre with it and whipped it on McIntyre’s back. McIntyre ran away.
The Miz vs Bronson Reed
The Miz kicked Bronson Reed on the face and he goes for the rapid strikes. Reed took Miz down and followed with a senton. Miz rolled out and Reed jumped on him from the apron. Back after the commercial, Miz sends Reed down and slide kicked him. Reed looks for a powerslam, but Miz delivered a Tornado DDT. Miz goes for yes kicks and the final kick got countered. Miz delivered his signature clothesline, but Reed fought back delivering the Death Valley Driver and the Tsunami for the win.
After the match, Reed went for another, but Truth saved Miz. Reed took Truth with three Trsunamis and Adam Pearce stepped in to stop him, but Reed moved to another corner to deliver another Tsunami on Truth. Adam Pearce yells Reed and asks him to move backstage, but Reed delivered yet another Tsunami to Truth.
Backstage
Jey Uso met Sami Zayn in the backstage and he motivates Sami to beat Bron Breakker and get the Intercontinental title back. Jey days that after this, they are going after Judgment Day for the tag team titles.
Update
Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley vs Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan got confirmed for Bash in Berlin.
Judgment Day
Judgment Day cuts a promo saying that thr new Judgment Day has ni leaders. Liv and Dom said that they will take Rhea and Priest down, for ill treating Dom. Balor says that he will be there.
Intercontinental Championship ‘2 out of 3 falls’ Match- Bron Breakker vs Sami Zayn
Bron Breakker took the fight to Sami Zayn, targetting Sami’s mid section. Sami Zayn sends Breakker out and delivered a senton jumping over the top rope. After the commercial, Bron takes control of the match. He yells Sami and sends him to the ropes. Breakker delivered rolling spinebuster and goes for a powerbomb, but Sami escapes and delivered a tornado DDT.
Sami Zayn looks for Blue Thunder Bomb and Breakker stops him to deliver a German Suplex and a couple of clothesline to the corner. Sami followed him with the Helluva Kick to pin Bron Breakker for the first fall. Sami Zayn- 1, Bron Breakker- 0
Bron rolls out and Sami chases him. Sami went for the moonsault from thr barricade, but Breakker caught him in the mid air and threw him to the time keeper’s area.
After the commercial, both were on the top rope and Breakker delivered the Frankensteiner. Breakker delivers a Gorilla Press slam and a couple of Spear to pick up the second fall and the scores Levelled. Sami Zayn- 1, Bron Breakker- 1
Bron tried to pin Sami again, but Sami rolls him up. Bron escaped and took Sami outside the ring. Breakker made Sami sit on thr announcement table and jumps from the ring to hit a clothesline on Sami. Breakker tries for a countdown win, but Sami breaks it in 9½. Breakker toom Sami to the top rope and Sami counters with the Sunset Flip Powerbomb.
Sami looks for a Exploder Suplex and Bron delivers a Belly to Belly Suplex. Bron goes for a spear, but Sami delivered a Helluva kick for a nearfall. Sami goes for the top rope and Bron delivered a spear in thr mid-air to pick up the third fall. Bron Breakker wins the match with 2-1.
Raw Results
- Damian Priest defeated Carlito by pinfall after the South of Heaven’s Chokeslam.
- Odyssey Jones defeated Vincent Winey by pinfall in his Raw debut match.
- American Made (Julius & Brutus Creed) defeated Alpha Academy (Otis & Akira Tozawa) in the Texas Tornado Tag Team Match.
- The #1 Contender’s match for the WWE Tag Team Championship between Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane) & The Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark) ended in a disqualification.
- Gunther & Randy Orton came face to face & Randy Orton delivered an RKO. Drew McIntyre tried to attack Randy, but CM Punk took him out.
- Bronson Reed defeated The Miz by pinfall after Tsunami. After the match, he performed five Tsunamis on R-Truth.
- Bron Breakker defeated Sami Zayn with the score 2-1 to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
