The August 16, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw is officially over and it is one of the must watch episodes in recent times. WWE has showcased some of the interesting matches and segments on the show, which sets the foudation for the Bad Blood PLE. WWE Raw Summary & Results
CM Punk was live
CM Punk kicked-off Monday Night Raw and he addresses his rivalry with Drew McIntyre and whatās his mindset. Punk is at the point, where people ask how many matches he left in this old bone and he says that it is way more than they think. He says that he didnāt came to WWE to make friends and not a mortal enemy too, but he done it. He says that the only way to end this feud is to end it at Hell in a Cell.
He says that Drew failed to put him away, as he is stubborn now. Punk says that he doesnāt have any Hell in a Cell match left in him. He says everyone close to him said not to have a Hell in a Cell match, but he will do it. Punk promised that he is going to make Drew bleed. He says thst only way Drew can stop him is by killing him. Punk is prepared for everything and is coming for Drew.
Sheamus vs Pete Dunne
Sheamus avoided Pete Dunneās initial strike to punch him over and over and threw him tough the apron looking for Ten Beats to the Bodhran. Dunne counters extending the fingers. Inside the ring, Dunne counters Sheamus offense to stomp Sheamus elbow. Outside the ring, Sheamus escapes Dunneās stomp and delivered an Alabama Slam on the announcement table.
After the commercial, Dunne powerbombs Sheamus in the middle of the ring and the WWE Fans chanting Butch made him lose his mind. Dunne striked Sheamus with the elbow back to back. Sheamus stops Dunne with a clothesline, a slam and knee drop from the top rope. Dunne escapes and climbs the top rope, but Sheamus stopped him to deliver a powerslam.
Sheamus performed ten beats to the bodhran. Dunne picks up the Shillelagh, but Sheamus stops him with the big knee. Sheamus tried tk attack Dunne with thr Shillelagh, but the referee pulls it off. Dunne used the distraction to attack him with the cricket bat and picked up the win.
Backstage- Terror Twins, Jey Uso & Xavier Woods
Jey Uso met Priest and Rhea and said that he will have his eyes on Damian Priestās match agaisnt Dominik Mysterio. Xavier Woods met them. Wooda wanted them to stay away from the World Tag Team title match, as they win the title all by themselves and need to prove they still got it. Priest respects and asked them to take the title from them. The segment ended with Jey and Ripley yeeting.
Backstage- Braun Strowman & The Miz
The Miz met Braun Strowman and asked how he is doing ahead of his match against Bronson Reed. Strowman says that he is little banged up, but that isnāt going to stop him. He clarifies about Strowmanās last weekās claim on him. Strowman said that sometimes only a monster can manage another monster.
Natalya vs Zoey Stark
Both lock their shoulders and both counter each others move. Natalya looks to finish things early, but Zoey escapes grabbing the rope. Zoey pulled her neck though the rope and performed a missile drop kick from the top rope. After the commercial, Natalya avoids another missile drop kick and she is firing up. The counter for counter continues until Zoey deliver a super kick. Natalya escapes the Z360 and Zoey counters the sharp shooter. Both roll each other and Natalya came out successful.
Backstage- Rhea Ripley & Finn Balor
Rhea Ripley was interviewed backstage, but Finn Balor interrupted her. Balor said that everything between Priest and Judgment Day is personal. Balor said thst Ripley is bad as Priest and she is all selfish focused on only herself and they were never family.but Ripley said that they were and theg betrayed them for their selfishness. She said that at Bad Blood nobody can stop them.
Balor then revealed that he was the devil on Domās shoulder, who asked him to forget Ripley and move on with Liv. Rhea gets anger and Jey met them. Finn backs up. Ripley ask Jey to focus on the IC title and he is marching to the ring.
Jey Uso & Bron Breakker
Jey Uso is excited for his upcoming Intercontinental Championship match against Bron Breakker. He looks to win his first singles championship next week. Bron Breakker interrupts him and said that he told Jey to stay away, but he stepped up. Bron says that Jey is a big star and fans love him, but he only had 6 months to overcome Jeyās entire career.
Bron said that he will be exposing Jey next week, to prove Jey is nothing without his family. Jey asks how long Bron is being here and said that he is here 14 years, and started wrestling when Bron is on his diaper. Jey says that Bron stays longer than Bronās NFL career. Bron is heard enough and took Jey down. Breakker tried to spear Jey, but Jey speared Breakker instead.
World Tag Team Championship Match- The Judgment Day vs The New Day
JD McDonagh and Kofi Kingston started the match with Kofi taling JD down and tagging Woods to deliver double-team moves. Finn joins the party, but the double team took him down. The New Day superckicked the champions to send them out of the ring.
Back after commercial, Kofi delivered a SOS to Finn Balor. Woods and McDonagh tagged in and Woods is fired up. Wood toom JD with the flying bow strike and puncheds JD on the face. Kofi took Balor out to the ring and performed a senton.
Woods is distracted by Judgment Day, but LWO managed them. Woods goes for the elbow drop from the top rope and goes for the fall, but referee is busy handling the others. Referee pulled the referee to the ring, but JD locks his neck and Balor delivered a coupe de grace to win the match. After the match, Woods got obsessed with Kofi and walked to the backstage alone.
Backstage- Internal tensions within Judgment Day
Xavier Woods was mad at LWO claiming that they caused their title. Kofi stopped Woods saying that he called LWO for backup, because he wants to counter the Judgment Dayās game. Woods asked why they need back up when they didnāt needed it in the past. Kofi says that they are now only 2, Woods asks is he thinking that Woods canāt make it and walks away from Kofi.
Braun Strowman & Bronson Reed Brawl
The top rope exploded when Reed splashed the turnbuckle and the match didnāt started. Braun Strowman delivered a chokeslam on Reed. Strowman tried to kisk start the Strowman express, but Reed threw a fan on Strowman. However Strowman delivered a running crossbody to break the barricade.
ļ»æThey got separated. Reed walks out and Strowman ran to push him to the box. They took the fight to backstage. Strowman threw Reed over the box and attacked the securities. He wrecked a cart and Reed jumoed over him wot break the tables. Strowman ran over him and broke a partition wall.
Sami Zayn, Ludwig Kaiser & Gunther
Sami Zayn addressed sharing ring with Bret Hart last week. He says that Hart thought him how to be a Canadian Champion and now he wants the World title. He says but the current champion is not accepting his challenge saying that he is not on his level. Zayn doesnāt believe that. He thinks he is on his mind. Gunther might be fearing Sami.
Ludwig Kaiser interrupted Sami asking why Sami is here. He says thar Gunther is the most dominant wrestler in the company and he is not scared of Sami. Kaiser says that WrestlerMania was one of the biggest night of Sami, as it was the only time he made his family look up for him. Kaiser says that Sami can keep on talking, as the match could never happen.
Sami says that he is surprised seeing Kaiser. He asks why Kaiser is here, to act as Guntherās mouth piece. He asked Kaiser to speak for himself and not Gunther. He said that if he can do Kaiser can do as well.
Gunhter interfered to ask Kaiser if has anything to tell him and asked to tell him. Kaiser looks to take something from his chest and went on to attack Sami with a clothesline and the modified DDT. Gunther says that his answer for Sami is still no. Gunther walks out, but Sami grabbed Kaiserās leg. Sami delivered a suplex and Helluva kick to Kaiser.
Backstage- Damian Priest & Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan met Damian Priest. She said that it was easy for Judgment Day to chose her over Priest and Rhea. Priest asks Liv to give Dom a good bye kiss, as he us going to punish him when he steps for the match. He also asked Liv to be safe with Rhea, as she gonna catch her neck at Bad Blood.
Bianca Belair & Iyo Sky
Both showcase their tackling, athletic and gymnastic skills. Belair delivered a vertical suplex. Sky escaped the lionsault and both still playing the tackling games before the commercial. After the commercial, Belair escaped from a crossface submission and takes down Belair with a couple of takedown and a drop kick. Sky fires up taking Belair down and performed the metiora.
Belair delivered a gut buster, Sky deliverd a missile drop kick. They trade strikes back and forth. Belair took Sky down and performed a Lionsault, but Sky kicked out. Sky counters the Gorilla Press to deliver a German Suplex. Sky pulled Belairās head on the rope and delivered a suicide dive. Belair took Sky like a vertical suplex and threw her to the ring. Belair tries a 450, but Sky countered. Belair looks for a KOD, but Sky rolled her for the win.
Dominik Mysterio vs Damian Priest
Damian Priest fired up with a shoulder tackle and tossing him all accross the ring. Priest got distracted by Judgment Day and Dominik tried to have a brief control, but Priest gets the momentum back. Damian punishes Dom infront of Liv choking his neck to the ropes. Damian hit Dom with the elbow and looks for the finish, but Finn Balor distracts him. Dom walked outside and Priest chases him. Priest took Carlito down and sends Dom in. When the referee is busy checking Dom, Balor pushed Priest to the ring post and Dom delivered a suicide dive.
After the commercial, Priest bumped his head on the ring post and Dom delivered a Tornado DDT for a nearfall. Dom chops Priesr and it fires him up. Priesr goes for a series of offense with the boot and rhe forearm. He deliver a flatliner and looks for a finish, but Balor distracted.
Priest took Dom down with a bomb, but Liv kept Domās leg on the rope to break the fall. Ripley speared Liv through the announcement table. Priest pushed Dom to Balor and superkicked Carlito. Inside the ring, Dom delivered a 619, but Priest performed the South of Heaven Chokeslam to win the match.
After the match, Judgment Day atracked him from the back and Rhea comes for the save. However the numbers game took them out. Jey ran to the ringside for the save, but Breakker speared him. Inside the ring Liv performed Oblivion on Rhea and Balor performed two Coupe de Grace on Priest. The Judgment Day stand tall and Raw comes to an end.

- Pete Dunne defeated Sheamus by pinfall after attacking Sheamus with the cricket bat.
- Natalya defeated Zoey stark by pinfall.
- The Judgment Day defeated The New Day to retain the World Tag Team Championship. After the match Xavier Woods yelled at Kofi Kingston.
- Bronson Reed vs Braun Strowman match never started, as the ropes broke and they brawled all the way to the backstage.
- IYO SKY defeated Bianca Belair by pinfall.
- Damian Priest defeated Dominik Mysterio by pinfall. After the match Judgment Day attacked Terror Twins.
