WWE has officially announced the venue of Raw debut on Netflix
The Stamford-based promotion is all set for WWE Monday Night Raw‘s debut on the streaming platform Netflix. Ahead of the highly anticipated debut, the promotion has now announced the official date and venue for the streaming platform debut.
The debut episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix will officially be held on January 6, 2025. The venue for the premier show will be the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.
Another big announcement from the Stamford-based promotion was regarding the appearance of the uber-popular hip-hop artist Travis Scott. Scott was earlier rumored to be a part of the debut show, the WWE has now confirmed his appearance.
Scott’s hit song ‘Fe!n’ is the official theme song for WrestleMania 41 and now the promotion has confirmed that Scott is set to perform live at the Intuit Dome in the debut show of the Red brand.
The announcement was made by the Chief Operating Officer of Triple H via his X (Twitter) handle. “When we say WWE goes big, we mean it. The first #WWERaw of the @netflix Era will be at the @IntuitDome in Los Angeles on January 6th, and @trvisXX will be there live and in person. The countdown is on…” Triple H wrote.
Roman Reigns, John Cena & Cody Rhodes are being advertised for WWE Raw
Following the announcement of Travis Scott’s appearance the promotion has also released the official poster for the launch show on the streaming giant.
The poster features John Cena, ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, and the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Reigns was earlier removed from the 2025 posters of Friday Night SmackDown which pointed to his move to the Red brand.
‘The GOAT’ John Cena was also rumored to make an appearance on the debut show, his appearance has now seemingly been confirmed by the company. Cena will kick off his retirement tour as he has announced his retirement from wrestling at the end of 2025.
The Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes along with one part of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair are also advertised for the debut show.
The tickets for the grand show in California will go on sale this Friday at 1 pm ET/10 am PT, and it will be available via Ticketmaster.
The debut will be the first time in history that the Red brand will not be telecasted on cable networks. The shift to streaming platform gives the promotion an unprecedented level of creative freedom.
It would be interesting to see what the Stamford-baed promotion has in store for fans in the much anticipated January 6 show of the Red brand.
