Oba Femi answered Brock Lesnar’s open challenge.
The March 16 episode of WWE Raw from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, kicked off with Brock Lesnar confronting Seth Rollins, when Oba Femi appeared, laying Lesnar out with a fall from grace and pointing to the WrestleMania sign, accepting Lesnar’s open challenge.
Meanwhile, ‘Real’ El Grande Americano pinned “Original” El Grande Americano, while AJ Lee defeated Bayley to retain the Women’s Intercontinental title. In the men’s Intercontinental title clash, Penta pinned Dragon Lee to retain the title.
Furthermore, Nattie defeated Maxxine Dupri via submission, while Stephanie Vaquer pinned Raquel Rodriguez in a non-title match. Roman Reigns and CM Punk once again engaged in a war of words, with Reigns getting the upper hand and riling up Punk, who dropped Reigns with a right hand to end the show.
Brock Lesnar will appear live after the beatdown this week
After suffering a beatdown at the hands of Oba Femi, Brock Lesnar is set to make an appearance on next week’s show. WWE has confirmed the WrestleMania showdown between Lesnar and Femi, and it will be intriguing to see how the Beast Incarnate responds.
On the other hand, Paul Heyman outlined the plans for Logan Paul and Austin Theory, which were to focus on acquiring the Tag Team titles. In their quest towards the Tag titles, Logan and Theory will battle the current World Tag Team Champions, The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso), in a non-title match.
Additionally, as per his schedule on the Road to WrestleMania 42, ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns is also set to appear on the show. Fans can expect things to get even more physical next week, after Punk threw the first punch this week.
The build-up towards WrestleMania will continue on the March 23 episode of WWE Raw, which will take place live from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
