The Clash in Paris go-home show concluded in Birmingham!

WWE officially entered Clash in Paris week and kicked off the week with the go-home show of WWE Raw. The company had already arrived in Europe, delivering live events and weekly Raw and SmackDown shows.

The go-home show of Monday Night Raw aired live from the BP Pulse LIVE Arena in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Roman Reigns kicked off the show and engaged in a malicious brawl with Bronson Reed, whom he’s set to face at the PLE.

Furthermore, Dragon Lee pinned JD McDonagh in the first match of the show, while Kofi Kingston defeated Penta. Rhea Ripley pinned Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez attacked her after the match, and Iyo Sky made the save.

In the co-main event, AJ Styles defeated Finn Balor in an impromptu match following Styles’ involvement in the Lee vs McDonagh match earlier in the show. In the main event of the show, Bron Breakker pinned LA Knight with the help of Seth Rollins, who attacked Knight after the match.

The attack brought out Jey Uso, who initially made the save but fell prey to the numbers game. CM Punk made the final walk as he took out Breakker and punished Rollins with a flurry of punches. Rollins managed to escape as Knight and Punk started arguing, and Jey tried to intervene.

Chaos broke out as Jey took out Knight with a superkick and then followed it up to land another one on Punk, to the amusement of Rollins and, following on Roman Reigns’ advice, as the show came to an end. WWE also announced the matches for next week’s fallout show, along with the show’s special start time.

After being attacked by AJ Styles during his interference in the Dragon Lee vs JD McDonagh match, Dominik Mysterio asked his fellow Judgment Day member Finn Balor to take care of Styles. However, Styles managed to pin Balor to pick up an easy win.

Irked by the situation, the Intercontinental Champion complained to General Manager Adam Pearce about his AJ Styles situation and asked him to end the constant attacks. Pearce then made Dom vs AJ for the Intercontinental title official for next Monday.

After being ambushed and severely damaged by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, Roman Reigns was taken to the hospital. The promotion will provide an update on his condition in this week’s episode of Raw.

The September 1 episode of  Monday Night Raw will serve as the fallout show from the Clash in Paris PLE and is set to emanate live from the Paris La Défense Arena in Paris, France. Additionally, the show will have a special start time of 2 PM ET.
