WWE is all set for the historic premiere of Monday Night Raw on the streaming platform Netflix. The transition carries huge anticipation among fans as the new era of streaming brings exciting changes.

Four high-stakes matches have been announced for the debut show so far, including a title clash, two grudge matches, and a tribal combat match where the Ula Fala is on the line. Multiple top stars are also set for an appearance on the debut episode including Cody Rhodes, John Cena as well as hip-hop star Travis Scott.

In this article, we will highlight four rising stars and talents who could make their debut on the historic premiere episode on January 6.

4. Hikuleo

Tautuiaki Taula Koloamatangi better known by his ring name Hikuleo began his wrestling career in 2016 in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Hikuleo slowly created a name for himself in the promotion and is a former Strong Openweight Champion, a 2-time Strong Openweight Tag Team Champion, and a one-time IWGP Tag Team Champion with partner El Phantasmo.

Hikuleo has also wrestled in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Impact Wrestling and Impact Wrestling. He last competed in his final match for NJPW on June 9, 2024, with reports linking him to WWE in the future. There is a possibility that Hikuleo might make his surprising debut on the debut show.

3. Zilla Fatu

Zilla Fatu is a fourth-generation wrestler, being the son of the WWE legend Umaga. Fatu recently began his pro wrestling career mainly being trained by another legend Booker T. Fatu made his professional wrestling debut on July 15, 2023, at a Reality of Wrestling house show, where he defeated Jonny Lyons in a singles match.

Fatu has also made appearances and competed in Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). However, Fatu is currently on a break from competition, many fans believe that he could be moving to the WWE soon.

Fatu can make his debut on the premier show and can join the OG Bloodline aiding Roman Reigns if Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline tries to interfere. This way he can leave a lasting mark on the fandom and it will also give a push moving forward in the promotion.

2. Penta El Zero Miedo

Mexican wrestling sensation, Penta El Zero Miedo formerly known as Pentagon Jr. has recently signed with the WWE following his AEW contract expiration. The Stamford-based promotion has been teasing his arrival for a few weeks.

WWE has been releasing a series of teasers, each one more revealing than the last. The latest teaser, aired during the December 30 episode of Monday Night Raw, left little doubt, as Penta’s distinctive branding made a prominent appearance, all but confirming his signing with the promotion.

The timing of these teasers made many fans believe that Penta might make his debut on the premier show. Miedo will probably make his debut on January 6 putting the entire division on notice.

1. Joe Hendry

Former TNA Digital Media Champion, Joe Hendry made an appearance via a pre-recorded video on the 12/31 episode of WWE NXT during the 2024 Year-End Awards on the final show of the year. After winning the ‘Moment of the Year’ award, the Scottish star sent in a video thanking the fans for voting for him and expressed his gratitude.

However, the moment that caught everyone’s attention was at the end of the video where he said, “I want to remind you that says his name and he appears means anywhere, anytime, any show.” This was followed by a short graphic promotion of the upcoming Monday Night Raw’s debut on Netflix.

This led many fans to believe the promotion confirmed Hendry’s debut on the main roster at the Intuit Dome. Hendry is currently one of the top names when it comes to rising stars and debuting on the main roster in WWE should be the next obvious move for him.
