This week’s show will determine the final King & Queen of the Ring semi-finalists!

Only two spots are remaining in the King and Queen of the Ring tournament semi-finals, which will be filled on the June 16 episode of Monday Night Raw. The show is set to air live from the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Multiple top names have been advertised for the show, including the newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, Jey Uso, Rusev, Sheamus, and Stephanie Vaquer, among others. The show will also feature the return of former multi-time World Champion Asuka, who has been absent since May 2024.

Let us now take a look at the detailed preview, match card, timings, and telecast details for the June 16 episode of WWE Raw.

Matches & segments confirmed for 06/16 WWE RAW

  • Asuka returns
  • Bayley to appear
  • Liv Morgan vs Kairi Sane (Liv will explain why she attacked Nikki Bella)
  • World Heavyweight Champion Gunther to appear
  • Rusev vs Sheamus vs Bronson Reed vs Jey Uso – Fatal Four-way match for the King of the Ring Tournament
  • Asuka vs Ivy Nile vs Raquel Rodriguez vs Stephanie Vaquer – Fatal Four-way match for the Queen of the Ring Tournament
  • Nick Aldis will be filling in for Adam Pearce

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther to appear

The newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther, is scheduled to make an appearance on this week’s show. The Ring General will likely celebrate his triumphant win over Jey Uso on last week’s Raw in the main event. However, with the Night of Champions inching closer and Mr. Money in the Bank lurking, the Champion will have his hands full.

Rusev vs Sheamus vs Bronson Reed vs Jey Uso – Fatal Four-way match for the King of the Ring Tournament

In the final match of the opening round of the King of the Ring tournament, Rusev, Sheamus, Bronson Reed, and Jey Uso will lock horns. The final participant in the match was revealed ahead of last week’s SmackDown, where GM Adam Pearce announced that former World Champion Jey Uso will participate in the final opening match. The winner of this match will battle Cody Rhodes, who has already secured his place in the semi-finals.

Asuka vs Ivy Nile vs Raquel Rodriguez vs Stephanie Vaquer – Fatal Four-way match for the Queen of the Ring Tournament

Similarly, in the final opening match of the Queen of the Ring Tournament, the returning star Asuka will lock horns with Ivy Nile, Raquel Rodriguez, and Stephanie Vaquer in a fatal four-way to decide the final participant in the semi-finals. The winner will join Alexa Bliss in the semi-finals, and the winner between the two will then secure their spot in the finals.

Bayley appearance

Following her return and subsequent attack on Becky Lynch, Bayley is set to make an appearance on this week’s show. Bayley will likely cut a promo calling out Lynch for the attack during WrestleMania 41, and it would be interesting to see how this storyline progresses.

Liv Morgan vs Kairi Sane (Liv will explain why she attacked Nikki Bella)

One-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champion, Liv Morgan, is set to battle Kairi Sane in a singles match. Morgan will also explain why she attacked Nikki Bella on last week’s show. Liv attacked Bella, who made her return last week, flatlining her with oblivion.
